Ok as some of you may know, I'm promoting a New Social Networking Site that Pays $$$ to its Users Called Yuwie., I created a basic spash page website called PartyLobster.Com to help me promote it. Now there where a few DP members who where posting in the traffic or possible service section that they had 100,000+ friends on Myspace and if you wanted, they would post to them for like a few dollars your ad. Well I PM these peeps with no answer, so now I joined Myspace to try to do it myself, just wish I could build 100,000 friends, like over night, LOL . So what is the best way to draw the myspace crowd to my site. I going to try bulletins first, Now I don't want to PM everyone, because I don't want to get labled a spammer, I feel my time is going to be limited any way on Myspace, because Myspace has already censored out all Yuwie URL's making it a tad tougher to market Yuwie on Myspace, Now my website helps eliminate that issue. Geez, you think Myspace is a little nervous over the compition already, LOL . So once the Myspace Admins sees that I'm promoting Yuwie, I'm sure they will Ban me, LOL . So is Bulletins the best approch or is there something else I can do that wouldn't get me banned as quickly, LOL. Thanks Gang
I love your idea here. Let me see if I have this straight... because myspace was throwing out any URLs advertising yuwie, you created a page (party lobster) that you could freely advertise on myspace. Very nice my friend !
I use the 100% framed link method... works like a charm!!! If you'd like the html code for this... just ask!!
No seriously!!! Here's what my URL looks like... http://www.wealthyresults.ws/paid2prty.htm The 'paid2prty.htm' extension is my framed link URL for my Yuwie page. Pretty sneaky, huh... It's been in circulation for some time now on my Myspace, Hi5, ApSense, Adlandpro and MiGente (for Latinos) pages... Here's the code... <html> <title>YOUR SITE TITLE GOES HERE</title> <frameset rows="0,*" framespacing="0" border="0" frameborder="0"> <frame scrolling="no" noresize> <frame scrolling="auto" noresize src="YOUR AFFILIATE LINK GOES HERE"> </frameset> </html> Have Fun !!!
I am not a fan of MySpace bulletins, I have 100 000s of friends and the bulletin reach or friends that read bulletins is well less than .5% of my friends, most of my friends are active, bulletins just aren't popular and not many actually read them as they're usually used by spammers anyway. Having links on profiles is much more effective, blogging is also good (on MySpace), I would just sponsor some templates/skins etc. maybe even some videos to promote your site.
using softwares for building up friends network in myspace is good or bad? I am still not into myspace but thinking of trying that method. Hence could we get banned if we use softwares?
Depends what ones that you use, some of them only attract like minded webmasters who are building their friends base/count aswell.
