Either 1. Create an own blog on a subdomain and publish the article there, uniquely or 2. Spread it over all places with your link in it ? What's more effective?
No need for a blog, if it's just a few, then link them to and from your main index. Once that is done, re-write them into smaller articles complete with links to your site and spread them all over the place. However, keep in mind, it should be re-written for EACH place you submit it too for it's fullest effect.
