Yeah it's popular now, as more people remove the joomla sign at the bottom so you can't tell the difference if it's done by a cms or so. With Joomla you can have a community builder in it and a forum software thingy. A nice man at thsi site did my template.
Hi, I have to say that the red color you choosed is little bit agresive. Try to choose different tone of red and it will look much better.
Right, the site is coming in for a major redesign! Gotta get into Joomla first tho..! FF3300 is GOING - it looked OK to begin with but... About the mysql error - that's annoying, I got crawled by Google the other day just when there was a similar error, and now my current Google entry is screwed up. This seems to be due to downtime on the part of my host (Netfirms) - I am kind of surprised and disappointed, there have been several outtages recently, and that is all you need when you are trying to get a site off the ground... About this SQL error, I am pretty new to all this - is there some PHP code you can stick in there if there is an error to return a code to any browser or crawler that the site is temporarily down (sorry, n00b question, but there it is)? I have been out of programming for 20 years and things have kind of overtaken me...
I have to agree on the red being a little strong but then you did say you were fixing that. But the site layout looks good.
I would it could very original and interesting idea, if you are consistent in fonts, layout, and spacing.
