Ok, well I need help.. I have no idea what to create.. I have some good idea's but Im scared as hell to try any of them. What would be something simple and easy to start? I have little to none experience.. I have a person that is also willing to make layouts/code them for free, and I think I have found a good site to hire a programmer (if needed) anybody got idea's. Something simple and easy to start??
Well i am going to start a new site soon... If you want to know then PM me as you could either join in or it might help you figure out a good site for yourself
Your fear is the only thing that will hold you back. If you have good ideas write them all that and start narrowing them down based on your interest and the the level of skill or resources each may require to develop and launch. At the risk of sounding obvious, the easiest thing to start is probably some sort of information based product such as an e-book or report. Set up a mini sales letter and a paypal account. Using a technique called "Bum Marketing" which you could use to promote affiliate programs or your own product. View more about it here: http://www.bummarketingmethod.com/ I wish you the best of luck!
Just find an area that you are interested, and go for it I think the easiest way for people to start is with their own blog - or, you can buy a site that has already been set up for you. Just a warning though - once you get your first site up and running, you are going to want another - and another.... and another... etc
Checkout the Info Product Creation course. It will show you how in a few hours you go from idea to actual product to initial sales, with everything in between including setting up hosting and creating a sales page. Plus it's only 5 or 10 bucks! http://www.infoprodcreation.com/ -SS
My first couple of tries online were total failures. The key is to just start something. If it's not working, try something else. Don't get discouraged. Don't expect to bat 1.000.
just keep in mind that hosting is fairly cheap (GoDaddy low end is $4/month, and there are cheaper solutions out there) so it doesn't take much to break even. If you did all the work yourself for a simple website you are only looking at a $10-$12 startup cost. Of course you'll need to find a source of traffic, which may or may not cost money. But if you are selling a product that you profit $4 off of you'll break even selling just one per month. Not a huge risk... Good luck!
Smallbizstartupkit had good advice for you, prodigy. Get your first site up and online, and take action, even if you're scared/nervous/apprehensive. You'll pick up things as you go along.
If you've had no experience in this area, then I suggest you go with the free stuff first. Like blogging. Before launching your own website, you need to be sure that you know how to attract targeted visitors. And here's the rule of thumb: if you can get hundreds of targeted visitors without spending a dime, you WILL be able to attract much more with just a little to invest.
learn how to spell "journey"? no only kidding... i agree that you need a service, or to give something away free. that 'free' thing though can get you loads back in return with affiliate links / advets etc.
