Wow, I have an insanely high CTR, and its all turkish traffic!!! I've alreadly reported it to google. I'm very worried because my daily earnings are double! Any other things I should do? Have I been Click bombed?
47%..... omg. This is abolsutely crazy. Have hackers gone rampant trying to close my account? Why me!
Please send me site where you posted ......and......got highest ctr.....moreover i was posting in craiglist.org but due to some probs i m not getting huge traffic like previous months.so please help me by sending me high generating traffic website......like or similiar to craiglist.org.....expecting reply from u ............u can mail me plz.....sunil_kothari_aqua@yahoo.com
That's not good that you've emailed them I never do if i think there's something wrong. There's no click bombing - more then one click on the same add is not caunted. I believe so because trackers are showing more clicks then i have at panel. Te second thing is that if ckick bombing would be possible a small group of hackers could destroy and burry Google Inc in one day - that's impossible, there lots of security tools that they use. When i have to hight ctr i just block this IP's and that's all I think that it'll be ok but don't email them again the only thing you'll get from them is automatic response, so nothing helpfull
yah - if it's still going on you should ban that IP block or remove ads from your site altogether. Let us know what happens.
All turkish traffic has stopped. I think I might be OK, but i would NEVER consider 47% CTR to be safe.
You're right on that one. And it's ALWAYS good to email Google when you are worried about some unusual movement in your account. An email sent to the Adsense team at the right moment can save your account. Even if click bombing is not possible, people get banned for all sorts of things. In case you ever get in trouble, I believe you'll have much better odds if you keep a close and proactive relation with the Adsense team.
Yeah, I mailed them because, I remember there was the guy on dp who got banned, but put his support ticket number in his appeal and got his account immediately reinstated.
