Oh no!

I accidentally clicked one of my ads, when i honestly didnt mean to. Do I e-mail adsense and tell them about this accidental click?

I think you may "get away" with one click...

But anymore and theyll be upset! AdSenseAddict is right.. Would email them!

 

Also contact all AdWords advertisers and get on your knees.

 

I think I've done this a total of twice over a year or two. Luckily, my sites are not geared towards high paying keywords (specifically, if you know what I mean) so I doubt there was much suspicion that I was trying to artificially inflate my revenues.

I didn't write to them and they managed to set my revenues to zero for those clicks.

I will admit to biting my nails and waiting for the hammer to fall on my head however.

You should be fine, send them an email and apologise if it makes you feel better and be more careful in future

 

I don't think 1 click is enough to ban your account, but I'd still email them just in case - better safe than sorry.

 

I know the feeling. Hehe, its really funny too see what Google have done with the webmasters. Anyway, it will not harm you to send them a mail, telling them that you clicked on an ad.

I can't speak for google but i don't think that they will ban you for one click on your own ad because you have reported to them. Google is not the devil and i think that they know that every one can make a mistake.
