Oh My God!!! Will I Get Banned???

Whenever I published a post on my blog, I always preview or open it just to check if my post were there already. I notice the same ads are appearing whenever I open my blog. Then, I open my account to Adsense and saw that I earn .01 cent. Will I get banned from Adsense? Is that invalid impressions?
Is viewing your own website or blog every 5 minutes or so considered invalid impressions? I need help. Thank you.

 

No, if you click you own ads you get banned, if you view them you won't, you can view your own site every 2 seconds if you feel like it.

 

But I earned money from it because the same ads are appearing. That's invalid impressions right?

Get some mental help, fast. You need it. Day one you're all excited that you got away with cheating the system and the next day you freak out over a measly penny.

 

It are legal CPMs. You had them in the first days, and your income is based on a eCPM. So Google knows that a lot of your views are not getting clicks (obviously because if you clicked than THAT would be cheating) so the CPM you earn is lower because you look a lot at it yourself.

In the end, you earn as much by checking every 2 seconds, as you would earn by not checking it at all (because then the eCPM would raise after some time because the amount of clicks per CPM would raise... )

I hope you get what I mean with this messed up post. If not, in short: Its okay to watch your own website. You didnt cheat.

I just passed the tests of Google and I am 100% sure on it.

So the bottomline is, it ok to view your website even if it's earning you money?

 

Well, I thought I was gettin' away with cheating Adsense, but then I realize the value of it of how it can earn me a living someday so I decide to confess which turned out to be ok. Now I'm worrying about invalid impressions. Yes maybe I need some mental help.

Wrong. Both can earn you money. If you have enough impressions advertisers can bid on CPM price as well. In that case you can earn money with views.

Why is he banned from DP by the way? I mean he needed mental help, but probably less if websites dont overreact and ban him for asking a single stupid question?!
