No it's not. Sounds like you may not have a leg to stand on if you don't have the right to resell the information in the first place.

Are you an authorized reseller of these keys?

I think you need to find yourself a lawyer, rather than waiting. You have not used the CC for fradulent activities..so you can be cleared.

I don't think it's the CC numbers of these customers you need to be worrying about because credit card companies can trace where it was charged and who charged it. As long as you didn't do it, then you got nothing to worry about, if the previous owner tried to use these credit cards, he will be committing a criminal crime, which is very serious. I doubt he will take this risk.

You however, need to worry about the keygen keys that you are selling. Which's illegal, let's say if you are selling CD keys are WARCRAFT, then Blizzard might come after you if someone reported to them.. which can sometimes wipe out your bank accounts, all your net assets, if you loses the case in court.

Bad idea and investment you made.

If anything happans , Explain to them and call a lawyer .

this topic is very interesting to read , did the thread opener "commit suicide to protect my family?" or is he still alive , if you are please tell whats happening with this case .

If i were you , i will go to the nearest public service fraud agency or something like that , there are bunch of org's that teaches or gives advices about frauds and stuff. Contact them and they might tell what you can do than killing yourself

I don't think the last owner used the fake cc afterall, maybe but I would already heard of it by now. Also I repeat those aren't keygened cdkeys, they're right of the box... and I'm not sure blizzard can do anything about it... I had a similar website running for 4 yrs now and I had some trouble with some cdkeys and ppl threaning to contact blizzard...however I never heard of blizzard, they never sent me a single email in these last 4 yrs...

In a reasonable sense, you found others selling illegal/fake products in the ebay doesn't mean thay you are allowed to do it so!

Moreover, it is not strange that you can find illegal products in the ebay. There are too many products uploaded to the ebay that they may not have adequate man power to monitor and remove them at the first instant.

How come lame users put so important information on a cd-key website.
It's pretty weird but definitely you should consult a lawyer.
