    has this site gone live? Is it a template or maybe still "in-progress"?

    Seems to be quite ineffective as a stand-alone site. Might integrate well with sites that have content.

    The front-page really needs work! (I hope it's just a template) but the site actually does serve its purpose (using an imageshack cloner script)

    After submitting an image, ads do actually show :p

    Typically an advertising dollar is the only way file and image hosting sites make a dollar or two.. This is just a poor attempt at that concept.. I did the most obvious test and took a look at imagehosting.com and I think that is bit more how it should look.
