Oh Gawd why the hell are directory script owners so narrow minded these day???....

Hey all,
Ok just got around and had a nice bout with Kev owner of phplynx once again as usual, cause seems like just like David , Kev seems to have bit of a narrowmindedness surrounding them, dunno if this is cause they do not have time, nor money to devote or what.

I simple asked kev to have some deeplink feature like other directory script and all i could get in return was " You could read our ethos of putting in modifications if they are worthy and never charge but please understand that we won't try and mimick other scripts with things like deep mods 'gimmicks' "

.

Same with david once in a while he goes and shoots u in ur arm, saying " no one ever requested such a feature so unless someone else requests it we will see what we can do " sort of replies, remember david when i asked u to actually have no restrictions for admins to enter metas, title etc when editing links ?

Only those 2 directory script owners i have actually been involved with, or tried to use their script to the fullest. PHPLD is ok , phplynx not sure cause never tried it and will i ever try it after my little kev vs paidhosting 1 on 1 ? is different story.

So, can i ask other script owners and people into coding, are you guys that stubborn to not acknowledge other users request even when its small and will only help your script improve? Does it involve too much work and money, if so why not admit it openly and say " hey sorry ur request we cannot look into at all cause we do not have time nor money to entertain u or ur stupid idea" ??

Dissapointing or rather i should say " I am so disappointed sometimes "

I know rob is working on his directory script, so is that the new era ? Lets see how rob goes along doing business and listening to ideas be they stupid or crazy.

I know but like i said its my " viewpoint" i been into directory business for a year or more and when i see things that i feel are wrong and can change for betterment of the directory community i do not mind posting what i think.

Its ok i like wolves and they like munching on my fat belly too . But do not tell nasa or anyone else that i can regenerate else they will put me in one of their test labs, it was hard for me to break away from someone elses lab once.
