Hello everyone. I want to host a movie website on an offshore host, but it seems impossible to find an offshore hosting that accepts payment with paypal unverified. If anyone can tell me if there is some host like this I would apreciate it. Thank in advance

ROFL!! I don't think there is any legitimate host that takes unverified PayPal. That's shady. No reason you can't verify your PayPal.

??? Like everyone accepts unverified paypal. Verified paypal was an invention of ebay. Verifying paypal does not make you more legitimate to anyone but your own confidence and...people who still think ebay is a good idea...aka people stuck in 2003.

Do you even need to pay with paypal? You can make like up to 10 payments through papal with a credit/debit card, just say you aren't going to register when filling in your info and that you're paying with a card

I don't accept unverified PayPal. When you're verified, it proves your identity. I also only accept clients whose addresses have been verified in PayPal. Accepting unverified clients with non-confirmed addresses is just plain stupid. That's where the majority of your fraudulent clients are going to come from.

No, Verified paypal proves verified paypal and that's it. It does not prove any sort of legitimacy. It proves you got around paypal. Paypal is not Authorize.net, it is not a credit card merchant, it is paypal and no amount of "verification" will convince me you're honest. Just the money. I'm verifed too, and that's just to deal with the bank, not to pretend I'm more honest than someone in a country outside of the US who has an insanely more difficult time verifying.

I also accept cash money and money orders from unverified paypal...and no one has ever messed me up with that...though fraudulent chargebacks have been had from verified accounts...so please save that public relations speech for someone who hasn't used paypal for pretty much a decade.

Being verified with PayPal proves that you have a bank account, or have been approved for a PayPal credit card, and having the address verified verifies the legitimacy of the buyer, showing that the person's address matches the address on the credit card. One more step in fraud prevention. It means you're somebody with a bank account, and somebody with a real address. That means that if something goes bad, I can sue you, using that real address to serve you with papers. That's a big deal. ;)

I'm not saying there are no chargebacks with verified accounts. Just saying that there are far more with unverified accounts. Do business how you want, I'll do business how I want. I'm just saying that there are A LOT of companies out there who will not touch unverified PayPal users with a 10 foot pole. There is no reason somebody in the US would not be verified, and for people outside of the US, we only accept credit cards (not PayPal), so that takes care of that.
