Hey, I'm just wondering if there is any offshore hosting at all that would allow xbox 360 iso's hosted on their servers, it has to be legal where the server is located! If there are any legal issues it your problem.

I'm also wondering if hosting ROM's for the ds is illegal

I'm actually not even looking for a host, I'm looking for the country that would allow this ;)

you mean shared hosting ? no way dude, no shared hosting will allow file hosting.
There wont be any problems for you if you offer the downloads in private. I mean, for friends, or even a payed service. But if you offer them for all public or anyone can download, you will be in troubles and your account will be shut in matter of days.

You will need a dedicated server. Features depend on how many users will download, space you need, etc etc.

Moreover, if there are any legal issues, it will be your problem, not host problems. Youre responsible of your actions, files, etc etc hosted in dedicated servers. ( READ HOSTINGS TERMS OF SERVICE (TOS))

I used to host files at santrex.net dedicated servers. theres a very very good dedi located in germany wich offers 2X1000gb raid 1 disc. and unmmetered bandwidth for $199 a month.

    good luck mate !

Ya, i knew it would have to be a dedicated server, but if i make people pay to download them, wouldn't that be an even bigger issue? And they might sue me for the money i have gotten?

yes, of course..making profit from those illegal files by charging money to users is more dangerous than giving them for free.
BUt mate, all depends in the way you offer the files.. if you make too much advertisment you wont have a happy ending.

I used to run a warez forum and offered in my vip section access to a private ftp. and had arround 100 vips and never had a problem with dmca or something related. But in no way the ftp was advertised over the net.

The main problem of this, is "HOW FAR ARE YOU PLANNING TO GO"...
