Offshore Hosting - Warez Linking, plus a whole lot more

I think DC owner must be playing with you coz i never seen any server of EvoSwitch down for so long time.

 

Grrr why would they play with us amigo? Are we plastic puppets? Or is the hosting owner a puppet? He is paying for his service and I am paying for mine... they probably aint playing... but whatever is up with them, its nasty... and they should sort it out asap!

Update:

Its a National Holiday in Amsterdam Today.
May 1st - National Labour Day. Their Offices are closed. I called the DC as well. Noone is attending calls.
I have already send out Emails when the problem started developing.
The DC is not responding. We are now searching for Alternatives, other Datacentre's which can satisfy our needs.

The Hosting was picking up, and this Downtime is hurting our Clients and us really badly.

We are ourselves disappointed at choosing the DataCenter that we did.

We know many are frustrated right now, and they should be.
But please note, we are still making attempts to contact the DC. and will keep it going till we can get the Server up.

 

So there is no hope that the site will be back today at all eh?

24 hours, Still down and Out.... and climbing....

 

so we can expect another 24hrs of downtime.... that brings the grand total to 48 hrs.

 

Hopefully not.. but then again I'm not the owner of the host. May 1st was today and today is over. Hopefully they will be responsible enough to get things back on track Friday, May 2nd. Cause if they don't then that means there wont be any happenings on saturday and sunday either as thats probably weekends on their place as well. However, I do think that this entire situation is very unprofessional from the datacenters end. My site was only picking up its gear and this is terribly bad in terms of seo and impressions developed from my visitors. I'm just so ugh at the moment!

 

I believe National Labour Day have been over yesterday.... maybe keeping us a bit more notified about the current situation is not that of a bad idea..... Its 10:30 am at Netherlands Amsterdam right now and most probably work starts from 8:30 am in the morning....

 

Um. The Server has been online since 30 min.

I am contacting the DC regarding the Problem, and deciding on Future prospects of working with them.

And its down again? Or is it just me? I'll be so screwed, its the weekends! Its showing request timed out for me. Please fix this, its really important.

 

The site is not loading for me.. it wants to, I am not getting a time out page.

I talked to the op and he has plans to make this hosting better, ans have a better data center so just bear with him as he contacts his data center to get the server running and the changes that he wants to make implicated.

Tomorrow and the day after its the weekends so I'm guessing it wont be back till Monday if we are lucky? Ain't this DC the bestest in the world? Certainly cares about our Seo and google ranking!! Sheeeesh!! I hate it like hell when the site's out in the weekends! Just hate it like hell.. Just so frustrated. I don't know how long it takes to change a DC or anything, but paying $15 I expected a bit more sincerity even from the Dc's end... Surely he is paying them right, and its just lame from their side that they cant do the job. However, professionally speaking, and not as a Dp member but a customer, the host should have known better But then again, as a friend... I can only say... Bullshit... This sucks for me big big big time..

Yes. Now Server 1 is down. The DC is notified. They will take action at their convenience as they always do.

We tried talking with the DC yesterday. There wasn't any response from their end for the questions that i threw at them.
So it seems this isn't going to work out. Even if it does, it would mean some Huge downtime will be waiting just around the corner.

We are searching for Offshore Dedicated Service providers, that can better the Current Services.
IwhiC has been a great help, and has promptly offered to help us out.

However, that will remain our last option, as those Servers don't offer Offshore Services. And if we were to take that option, we will cease to be an Offshore Host.

We have a Month to go on these Servers. We will keep everyone updated on the decisions that we take.

We appreciate everyone who is, or has hosted with us. Bettering our Services, is our most important endeavor.
