Hey Freddy, thanks for the confirmation. But I think Vista blocked my website...:( Can you help me to check on how to unblock it? Or to get it to work for me? Cause this seems really messed up...how can I block myself out of my own website? Hm...I wonder what happened...

    Edit:
I turned off the firewall. But still nothing..:(

    Hello,

Try a proxy ( http://hide-us.info/ ) and see if you are able to visit your website trough that!

    Thanks,
    Freddy

I am able to visit it with a proxy. :( could it be a setting within my router?

    Edit:
New problem has now surfaced. When I try to access my website without a proxy, I just get a blank page, and sometimes the error page..

    Hello,

There might be a few things that disables you to visit your website!

    1. You might have blocked your own IP to from visiting your own website. (Unlikely if you havn't done it on purpose)

    2. Your ISP has blocked the IP of your webhosting company so no client's can visit any websites hosted on the same IP / Server. Ask your host for some other website hosted on the same IP / Server to see if that might be the case.

    3. Your host has blocked your IP or an IP range were your IP goes under, might be to prevent spam attacks etc. Consult with your host and make them check if your IP is in the black list. "whatismyip.com will tell you your IP address"

    4. You might have a DNS issue that causes the site not to work for you, how long is it since you changed the DNS to the MARV hosting service?

On the top of this, are you able to visit or see the website http://marvservices.com ?

    Thanks,
    Freddy

    1) how would i do that? i was just posting threads and then I couldnt connect.

    2)Okay, I will ask everythinghost.

3)I will talk to everythinghost about that also.

    4) I changed my DNS like about 2 weeks ago.

I can access it, but only though Internet Explorer.

I dont like Vista. Im going to revert back to Windows XP.

Today really was not a good day for me. :(

everythinghost, I need to know exactly what the problem is. Please. I need to know why I cannot access my website. I have much work to do to it. And for this just to happen randomly. I really need to know what happened. I was able to log in by proxy, and I did not block my IP address. Also, I cannot access my website through any of the other computers at my home.

    As Freddy said:

Can you give me the URL to another website on the same IP?

I was able to login through a proxy, but there was absolutely no IPs blocked at all.

I got in trouble for asking here and on their support the last time I needed support. :\

You will not see the blocked ips in your account, that will be on the firewall and only the sever admin can fix it.. you have to have root access to check that,
