Hello, I am looking for an offshore cloud host capable of handling high traffic sites.. Since I am looking for cloud hosting you must be able to offer 99.999% yearly uptime and cpanel would be nice.. and when I say "high traffic" I am not taking like most people that think 3,000 people per day is high traffic.. I mean handle 100-150k/day Please post here or PM me your offers as well as your site
Why do you need a cloud based hosting? You don't get cheap when your getting cloud hosting it's expensive plan and simple, 100k daily isn't very much your looking at about 70 hits a min / 4200 an hour, Since your budget is very low your not ever going to get any decent cloud hosting why not just stick to reliable dedicated server, or two of them so you can have failover incase one goes down, how much bandwidth are you using? normally cloud hosting costs 1 dollar a gb not including any resources, get a quote from amazon, you would be looking at 20k easily.. just a small site would run several thousand dollars a month
Koddos.com would be nice for your needs, the OP. They are considered to be the best in delivering quality offshore services with a 20% discount: HotNCold.
Thanks, but that is shared regular hosting.. and I have 2 dedicated servers already that I will probably just stick with until cloud hosting becomes a bigger thing.
Cloud is as big is it will get, it will not get cheaper it will only get more expensive there is a reason it's not cheap.
If you think amazon cloud service is as cheap as cloud hosting gets.. then you have no clue about the service at all. I have US based cloud hosting and it only costs me around $50/month with a set amount of bandwidth and not an additional $1 per gb like your talking about.. so don't pretend you know
Where did I say amazon was cheap? I said cloud hosting is expensive, it always will for years to come, because it's not cheap setting up cloud services, If your paying 50 a month for cloud hosting your not using very much bandwidth or it's not true cloud hosting services, 1gb may seem high to you but I've seen dollars a gb, which is the average price for cloud hosting, it doesn't mean it's more quality then anything else since I sell 100TB for $130 a month, but you get what you pay for.
