Offpage SEO Advise Needed

Okay so I feel like my onpage SEO is good enough. I update on a regular basis, but I need to drive more traffic to my website.

I know I need pleanty of linkbacks to rank higher on Google, and I'm going to focus 40% of my website time to getting linkbacks from posting in forums/directories.

Every time I read up on SEO from ebooks, the next one contradicts the last. It's so annoying.

I don't expect anyone to completely give up their SEO knowledge to me. Just a couple of offpage SEO tips and I will be extremely grateful as will other readers of this post hopefully.

You are going to need a balanced link profile. Use yahoo to find where your competitors are getting links.

Good blog posts on relevant sites can drive traffic even if the blog uses no folow.

Ill suggest you link exchange with sites with similar content as yours and try to avoid link farms.
Be aware of nofollow if you are building back links.
