Ok guys, I'm launching a new niche-targeted hosting company. I've worked on the website and I'm near enough ready for launch. I'm going to be mainly focusing on promoting it offline.

    I have the options:
    - Magazine
    - Business Cards
    - Shop promotion (niche-targeted)

What other options would you consider?

    Thanks

How do you plan to sell offline? Software? I have many many niches that work well for me - I'm an internet marketer myself. I'd love to discuss with you on AIM sometime - nXo.

Have a look at bandit boards near busy roads. I have heard they generate good responses.

Well the other options are many. It depends on your niche. How much time have you spent learning how your target market likes to consume their information? Is your niche mostly offline? Do they have any associations that you can become a part of/advertise with? Do they have any conventions that occur on a regular basis? Any groups you can find on Meetup.com? Any special events they have that you can find on upcoming.yahoo.com (or an equivalent).

Again, plenty of options just figure out where your target market hangs out in significant enough numbers and direct your marketing budget there.

It depends on your target market but niche targeted magazine ads could be a way to go. I would ask you

    1. who exactly is your target market, and

    2. where can you find them?

if you can answer those two questions you are on your way..:D

The answer really does determine your audience. As far as offline marketing I would suggest business cards, magazine ads, and newspaper ads.

Yes exactly your going on the way with correct options and as per as others already suggest you, that some other offline factors that really boost or help to promote your site depends on for which region you want to target and second most important analyze your target market for same niche...collect those answers then you got an approx idea about your position and where you want to go(target)...

As mentioned already, it does depend on what niche you are offering. One of the offline promotion techniques that we have used in the past is drop-cards (so promo flyers through doors).

Try and offer something within the offer (such as a freebie) so to get potential customers to contact you/visit your site.
