I guess most of us focus on online marketing and sometimes overlook offline marketing a bit.

So if you had a medium-sized business that sells certain products to many countries globally.

Would you choose offline marketing or online marketing, IF you only had one choice? and Why?

If you have business site or products sites than you must try offline promotions also . Few of my friends running local book stores and promoting their sites with graffiti on street walls .

offline is very good it gives people the chance for word of mouth allot more many times online people ust search themselves and do not reccommend products as much because they forget were they even got it from

so a good combination works for me and my business

I put most of my time into online marketing. If you hunt you can find some real deals out there. Newsprint is way to costly in my opinion.

If your market is global then your only option is online

The target audience is global in the case of web marketing with the Internet shrinking the world. The radius of offline marketing is limited by physical, political and time barriers.

This definitely depends on what your product is and the type of budget you have. My Father-in-Law owns a custom soccer apparel company that ships all over the world. He does no advertising at all (online or offline) and does very well for himself--his business is all word-of-mouth and clientelling. Word-of-mouth is the best marketing tool. If you can get it offline, or online through blogs, endorsements, and personal email campaigns, you're golden:).
