    I was thinking of creating small business cards to pass around schools in my city advertising my flash arcade site. I figured all kids need that site to go to, why not have it be mine since all the big ones are banned. It wouldn't be a ton of traffic at first, but it could be the start to a nice spread of traffic through kids telling friends online and so on.

    Whilst online has its benefits around tracking etc, print promotions and interpersonal selling are also very useful tools. Direct marketing for your local coffee shop can benefit hugely from a local leaflet drop or a prominent roadside location. Attending an exhibition with professional and prominent printed signage is very impactful, because remember, the attendees ARE your target audience.
