Offline advertising for CB products?

    Posting a flyer on college campuses for educational related products?

    Posting a weight loss product at your local gym bulletin board?

    Advertise in your local family magazine for parent products?

    Anyone tried similar methods?

    Unless you live in the US or the UK I can't see any success in advertising Clickbank product offline.

    In Europe for example, you need to pay a special tax to start posting/distributing flyers in certain areas. It can also go up to 100 euros a day which isn't something I'd consider profitable. I don't know much how offline adverting works in the US or UK though.

    Well, there's local free family magazine that gets distributed to 300K+ readers and a classified ad costs only $50...so I'm thinking posting a "weight loss 4 the summer" product...let see how this one goes...

    @ submp3s's

    Article marketing is definitely a much more solid approach, I completely agree :)

    @webtester01

    Let us know how things work out for you, I might be able to get someone from US to post a few ads in a local/ newspaper magazine, but I'm a little skeptical about this method to be honest.

    If it's only $50 then why not give it a try? :)

    Could be a great idea if you can manage to get your advert cheaply. (I know a few people that do this with good success)

    Always remember that its much easy for a person to click on your advert when the advert is on a website. If the advert is on a magazine/newspaper much less people will likely go to a computer and check it out.

    But again, if you manage to get your advert cheaply to a lot of people you should do well.

    Good Luck!

    I have myself at times considered advertising in magazines. I know that previously I have had affiliates earn a lot of money promoting my products through local channel tv commercials.

    Whoa..a CB affiliate promoting through local tv commercials...doesn't that cost like several hundreds or thousands?

    Alright, so I just ordered a classified ad for a highly popular free monthly Family Event magazine in my area -- it gets distributed to 300K public readers and can be found in major supermarkets/Wal-marts, 7-11, schools, etc. My ad will be placed in their 2-page classified section at the end.

    It's one of magazine people read in the toilet and think to themselves -- "Wow, let me check this out after I'm done..."

    The commission for the CB product is $35. All I need is 2 sales to make a profit. lol.

    LoL....

    It's thousands of dollars for a 20 second commercial ... It think he's drunk or something :)

    @Supervendor - Are you talking about http://www.paidresearchprogram.com/ ?

    Because if so I might understand why people "MIGHT" be able to advertise your program on TV since you mainly have traffic from Asia.

    writing articles on news paper with my website link worked for me.

    Posters in the near by place where the product is preferred more works.

    Mike Geary from truth about abs did some magazine advertising for his ski fitness product in a ski magazine. He made a 150% return (i think that was the # but it was pretty close to this anyway). Better than adwords in most cases.

    I did some for my tattoo site in a tattoo magazine and made about 10 sales worth $240. the ad cost me $62. do the math...it works but i guess like anything, depends on the niche and how direct your campaing is.

    Ski Fitness in a Ski Magazine and Tattoo Memberships in Tattoo magazine will convert better than a weight loss product in your local newspaper.

    What i usually do to promote CB products offline is to design a simple flyer with my affiliate domain in it, i print about 1K and handle them to people I think will be interested. The domain i put on the flyer has some really useful information tho, not just affiliate stuff, that way i can get some good results.

    ;)

    cheers!
