Back On-Topic No idea. Soon I hope! Get paid for the clicks anyway plus some free Overture credit. Still j/k. Will end this soon, feel bad now. Birthday thread is here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=11176
Yeah, Happy Birthday TOPS30... this looks like it maye well turn into a birthday thread.. We wait to hear if Yahoo gives a better return...
Yeah that's all I need is a boyfriend magnet in my life, on the other hand I could dig some of her girlfriends once in a while
Yeah! Maybe it will be a second chance for people kicked of from adsense (for ex. not because of their fault : \ - like me : ) I'm full of hope : )
It would be a miracle for anyone to break the hold that Google has with Adsense and with the traffic levels so much higher than anyone else, how can any other ads program possible compete? Unless, of course you could not get approved for Adsense.
Oh, you'd be amazed of how many webmasters are just sick of adsense and waiting for a competitor to jump in.
Absolutely, there's also the remote chance that Yahoo will resort to more money for the webmaster, via larger %s and an infinite number of other factors. Either way though, competition between companies is great for the consumer (in this case - us, the publishers!).
IMHO: I'm guessing people are tired of the secrecy, any webmasters sharing general or specific information with eachother(even reply email to a problem eveyone is curious about) is a violation of TOS. TOS, TOS, TOS. Maybe another 900lb Gorilla make the perception of deception wane. I too, adsense lover(still in the honey moon period), would appreciate more competition. Maybe it will not result in a penny clicks. Opps was that a TOS violation? tom PS. Disclaimer: the mentioning of any actual revenue generation is NOT associated with AS, I mean another PPC system totally.
It ultimately boils down to time. Things are only going to get better for publishers. You really should watch out and try to avoid anything which may be sensitive to the TOS. Google is a mistress obsessed with nuance ya know ;p
Well I am one of those... hope this is true and hope msn will create their own too. If this 2 giant create their own it's really googd competation for the big 3.
I saw one of the new yahoo ads... Spoke to my OV contact but they didn't know anything about it yet... I guess it's not that far away.
I could have sworn I bookmarked it... Ah ha! Found it... http://www.dogster.com/ Look right and view the frame URL...
