We, MediaWhiz Holdings Inc., have acquired AuctionAds LLC as our latest advertising channel.

We are indeed going through a transition period. But as we do, we are working day in and day out to get our hardware upgraded and everything moved over to our New York office development team. We are focusing on maintaining uptime and stability right now. Our next efforts will be put towards better development and faster release time for new features. We have some great plans ahead for AuctionAds, this is just the beginning.

For support, we are in the process of building the tools we need to better assist everyone with any reporting issues or tracking issues that may be occurring. Support does exist and will continue to be worked on to become more efficient and more responsive.

Support is and always will be available for AuctionAds.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to address them here.

What happened to my earnings as well as the earnings of many others over the last month or so?

Earnings were great the first few months when we started out. The previous month, however, earnings dropped to just about 0, but clicks remained the same? My only guess would be that you/previous owner either started taking your cut in a big way or the reports were not working correctly. After two support tickets, you denied both of these happening.

Anywho, you've lost mine and many others' support now and in the foreseeable future. Unless you turn things around and we start to hear some very good news, we'll stick to our other CPC/CPA providers that give us reliable results.

Sorry, let me clarify. I am able to answer any general questions here, not specific account questions, sorry.

For specific questions, please contact support:

Just what I expected...been there, done that, and you continue to deny it (as pointed out in my post regarding support tickets).

And again, here you are, afraid to discuss these issues in public. I'm not asking for account-specific questions. I have already tried that via email and got nowhere with it.

The problem here is that you have a lot of publishers (as far as I can see, the majority) who have noticed a significant, if not total, decrease in earnings coupled with no change in clicks. This has been the case for nearly a month now with no sign of a change. We have not been notified of any problems, you have not addressed these issues publicly, and now, when you make an attempt at it - you avoid the issue. It's the culmination of these things that have forced me to remove all AuctionAds ads from my site, and most people I have talked to are doing the same.

    Thanks for the communication.
Just to give another side of the story. I had a smaller payment last month that was reported, but after sending an email to support, the issue was quickly resolved.

Yes, my numbers were down, but since they were still much better than Adsense, I just took it as part of a new and growing system.

AuctionAds Team, PLEASE continue communication with us with as many details as possible (use your blog, maybe?) and I wish you the best with the transition and scaling.

I think it may be nice if something like this was posted on the AA blog...

I'm sure many folks that use the program never check Digital Point, and those that do are likely looking for news in Affiliate Programs rather then here in General Business...

I'm glad to hear you bought out auction ads. I attempted to use this service before without much luck. The keyword targeting was very poor. For example the keyword "nintendo wii" would bring up ads for the ipod nano...

Are you doing anything to fix these issues?

Yes, we are upgrading the keyword cached search results and how they are handled on our servers. We are also in the process of upgrading our servers to have more stability for the rush of publishers that joined our network.

Yeah, I tried to mention it to management, they didn't feel it apprioriate quite yet. News will be released there soon though, be sure of that. We have some great things coming up for AuctionAds. Major enhancements and improvements for the system and interface.

If anyone has any suggestions that they might like to see in the interface or feature ideas that you are looking for in the product, please do not hesitate to shoot them our way and we will see what we can do to make them happen.

For any feature requests, please e-mail them to: with the subject line of: Feature Request

    Thanks.

Would it help if I compiled a list of all the people that have said they are pulling their ads because of a lack of communication? There ARE several...

There has been issue after issue since the 10th of last month and thus far only one blog post mentioned anything about it, and that lead people to believe that the problems are over (which was/is) far from the case.

The only blog posts since the new ownership have been laughable at best by telling us that we can optimize our ads (7 Ways To Optimize Your AuctionAds) even though they are not matching keywords, and that we can earn like 40K or whatever (AuctionAds Success Story) with a server that won't seemingly load half the time.

I spent time looking into being a straight ebay affiliate (CJ?) due to the issues, fellow complaints, and LACK of communication. I still have the form filled out and waiting to be submitted...thanks to this thread, I've not completed it yet.

But what do we truly have to look forward too? "Exciting things I can’t mention today" ...yeah, that'll keep'em signed up ;)

TLA, are you just going to ignore this "little issue" regarding earnings plummeting?

Here you go, a few places to reference:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=426100
    http://www.earnersforum.com/t15262-4/#post111430
    http://www.adminfusion.com/index.php?singlepost=17642

    Same story, different forums.

I mean, I think it's great that you are making an attempt to come here, gather feedback, and answer questions. But, on the same token, you can't just ignore these bigger issues because you're afraid to confront them. This is a very real issue for you, and you're losing a lot of publishers as a result of it.

And like I stated before, we are going through the transition of the acquisition right now and are working day in and day out to stabilize everything to make sure it works for everyone.

Please know we are doing everything we can to keep it running at a sustainable level.

Right now, eBay is having reporting issues with CJ, their affiliate company, which is why are there are reporting delays. By nature of the product, those issues are out of our control and there is nothing we can do to force-update the reporting to show current data.

CJ is working to correct the issues with eBay and resume current reporting.

    Please see this announcement: http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200708081731541.html

That is your response? That this is just a temporary problem for a day or two?

Let me remind you that what I am referring to is something that has been going on for a month or more now. If you have no response for this, then that is fine, but you should at least know that many of your long-time publishers have noticed significant earnings decreases over the last month or two and they've given up on AuctionAds.

This is something that you might should address both externally and internally.

I know, but many people do not know. I am sure there are several people logging in, or trying to log in, to 'account home' and/or simply trying to follow the official blog. How many people do you think have checked, saw no apparent update, and not only logged back out, but also removed all of their ads?

I honestly could care less, other then a few topicality issues, I have been rather happy as my impressions are rather low (so I don't have a lot of room to talk) but I look at these other people saying they have been shorted money, or that their clicks have seemingly (and drastically) dropped, and I have to wonder, is my potential really what I'm seeing?

I'm not asking for miracles, I'm not asking for a time line...all I am asking for is that the official blog be updated. I swear it'll save you publishers...

I can understand that there are problems and that the new programmers will need time to read and comprehend all that code. I know that they MUST do that before they can even begin to fix what problems there are, heck, to even find those problems...but if I simply rely on the official blog, NOTHING IS BEING DONE ~ and that is my point.

I can only assume that publishers are dropping like flies sipping pesticide...I can only assume that Media Whiz would/should have at least some desire to stop that.

I'd like to know a few things.

    1. Will email support deal with the backlog of issues, or should we be submitting new ones?

    2. Is it MediaWhiz's intention to have a system scalable to low traffic publishers? If not, what is the intended threshold?

    3. Does MediaWhiz recognize that there are ongoing revenue & statistics reporting issues? If so, what are the plans to address them?

    4. What is the planned revenue share going forward under MediaWhiz management? Will it be tiered? Can we expect changes in the affiliate program?

While I offer my congratulations, I must offer my advice: deal with AdminFusion's claims, whether in public or otherwise (though otherwise seems to have not worked out too well) or risk alienating many people, including myself.

If I see that such issues as brought up by AF, which are legitimate questions which deserve an answer, are being completely ignored, then my mind immediately goes to "what if I need a question answered one day?".

I strongly suggest that you publicly address the problems brought up by GTAce.
