It was ok before but now I started having problem uploading again this past hour. The upload speed is really slow, its taking close to half hour to upload 1GB files compared to undera min before. Anyone else having the same issue?

I dont know if you guys noticed but there is currently a looping error. Free users are unable to download files because whenever they click on download the page just refreshes and nothing happens. Please fix this as a lot of my downloaders are complaining. :(

I doubt there is something wrong with the file deletion...
This happened to be second time when 100's of files are deleted at once and I am damn sure that all cannot be DMCA removals and neither of them were inactive...

I think there is a bug which I noticed in the second time deletion...
The common thing was the 90 days gap in both deletion process...
It looks like the files are being deleted after 90 days no matter the files are active or not..

Another thing I noticed was the series...
I mean if they are DMCA deletions then it cannot be like only first 100 files are removed and others not...
Only old files are being deleted, why not new...

I think this is a matter to be looked into soon...

    Thank You

    Thanks for informing us Sam.

I'll first look into this matter to know what was the reason of deletion.

    Get back to you soon!

    @Hitman

First of all thank you for solving that looping error, i see this fix also solved the problem with Jdownloader. But now there is another problem. :p

A couple of my downloaders are complaining that they are unable to download files completely using a browser's download manager e.g if the file is of 1GB after 400MB the file stops downloading.

I dont know if its a recent bug but this was reported today by few users so i dont think its a one time bug.

Thank you sooo much for looking into this because thing is getting serious to me I don't want this to happen the third time..
My downloads are also gone down to around 400 per day compared to around 1500 per day..:(
I hope this will be fixed soon...

And I have a question that whether I should start re-uploading the files or the files will be restored..???

For the files to be restored, it will be a strain on MegaShare's servers and I don't ever think the files will ever be recovered and I don't expect them to. Because no host does that. If they were able to restore, then I really commend them for their spectacular efforts restoring the deleted data.

You'll be better off re-uploading all the files. Just my 2cents.

I can understand that but the files that are deleted are tooooo many and will take a lot of time to find them again and re-upload them...

I agree. My files were deleted as well and may I add that each file is 1 GB. But you are uploading e-books, am I right? Shouldn't take you that much time to re-upload?

I seriously haven't seen any file hosts restore back any deleted files because that would be impossible. I assume Megashare has thousands of users. To recover the data back is well, asking for too much, me thinks.

Dude you may be having a good internet connection with high speed but I don't have one...:(
I get around 22KBPS upload speed because of my connection so it will take time re-uploading but it will even take time because I have to download the files again as I do not have them on my PC...

I hope Megashare v2 will be launched soon so that can I check that copy feature which all are talking about...

I get what you're saying. My home connection speed sucks as well. But well, I uploaded with that kind of speed for years back then. I rip and upload it to other file hosts with that kind of speed. And it was movies. So i know your pain but yours is twice lesser than mine. Why not get an RDP since you earned quite a lot just for a day's work? It's a life saver, let me tell you that. Just a suggestion.

Oh well, I shan't comment further. What I'm trying to say is, don't get your hopes up about MS recovering the data back. Because that's just a lot of work for them.

    Hello Sam,

This is not possible to restore the files as there are thousands of files got deleted due to different reasons. However we'll make it sure to not to delete your file for 90 days reason.

Hope you understand, and if it's necessary then reupload but if not then forget about it and upload new ones. You can get many downloads for new files while old one won't give much.

    Thanks!
