    I have a question actually.

    Hitman mentioned a couple of times that free users cant upload and download files larger than 1GB, but yesterday i uploaded a file of 1.4GB and downloaded that as well without any problems.

    So, has the limit been lifted? or is this a bug in the system?

    I think it may be a bug because Megashare Support yesterday told that for free accounts the limit is of 1 GB.

    yep, thats what hitman told me once, but i can download and upload files larger than 1GB.

    I guess they'll fix this in v2.

    Officially it's 1GB, but a number of ideas are being tested atm, so it's been lifted for a while, depending on what devs are doing right now you may be able to upload/download free 10GB! Make hay whilst the sun is shining as this could change at any time ;)

    10GB file sizes for free!! wow I mean really wow this is amazing. For how long? Is this one of the surprises for the new version? If it is Megashare seems to be getting better and better! I can't wait to see what else is in store for us with the new version. First I get over $900 and now I get this. And you say it's going to get even better :D

    Another question, is there a file size limit for which traffic is counted? or do you guys count downloads from 0MB to 1GB?

    There is no file size limit, we count all unique downloads, every single one of them!

    We haven't finished deciding on all the surprises for you... We'll surprise you with them. And yes it's going to get much, much better.

    We are looking forward to giving you lots more great surprises, but we can't tell you as they won't be surprises then :)

    Ok thats great to hear, but lets say that i upload 100 KB files ( note 100KB not MB) , and they generate a lot of traffic. This traffic will be counted, right?

    Obviously yes because there is no minimum file size limits which is the COOLEST feature for me...:)
    I sometimes even upload files of less than 100 KB... :D

    Absolutely yes, and as Sam says she is proof of this, if you upload 100kb (or under) files all unique downloads of those files will be counted.
    Also @msia007 and @jakiller would you mind pm'ing copies of your emails as I have about a thousand or more new emails to look through and I will be able to deal with the pm's quicker. Thanks

    Looks like there is lots of confusion going on with the names here and as well as on WJ...
    This is not the first time people misunderstand me...The first was on LB, second probably on WJ and third over here...

    I am HE and NOT SHE...
    Even Hitman and Styla were considered as same personalities on WJ...:D

    Its some kind of a fun though :D
