what ??/ waiting time of 5 Mins ??.....since when?

 

Have looked at your downloads and it seems to me you should have been paid. Don't know how you were missed. Hitman, has sent an urgent email to payments. However they are set up to make payments once a month. So I have emailed too, to get you paid asap. If I were you I'd expect payment within 48hrs now. Pls accept our apologies for this oversight...

My understanding is various things are being optimised and fixed by devs in the present version, to see the reaction before finalising for the new launch. Wait times are set in between dls to improve premium account sales. So Megashare can generate and pay more to you. Even pay per sale plus ad rev plus other things you'll see are being trialled.
Also my understanding is the survey option is generally not liked by users and rarely used so will likely be dropped with v2 also you'll notice premium account prices have been slightly raised in line with new competitors. Megashare has to look at what uploaders want. And whilst we are trusted provide more dls and more money, other lessvlucrative file hosts are gaining more traffic and seem to get more interest in this forum as well for example.

For about a week. Peoples most loved file host, prior to the rewards issue was rapidshare with 15mins wait time between dls. So MS 5mins shouldn't bother downloaders much as they are used to it. But should increase premium sales so we can pay you more. Although right now the wait time hasn't been forced on IDM users.
Pls everyone update us on the affect these changes have on your dls.

5 mins wait time is nothing as compared to market. Free downloaders won't be tired and our affiliates will get more premium conversions so more money in your pocket. our upload and download speed is still super so your number of downloads won't be effected badly. Premium sales will also compensate you.

However we'll love to hear your experience with this 5 min wait time before implementing it V2.

Thank you, I can confirm that I've received the payment. How many downloads does that equal to?

I have a complain about the way Megashare send the payment thou, its the fee thats comes out of our earning, other filehost don't charge the fee to the recipients. Its not much but $4-$5 is about half the price of Megashare premium accounts .

BTW what do you mean by an extra 0 on the end of the next payment?

I'll try and get a figure for you, but I'm told all your downloads upto the end of Nov.
I don't think the fee is covered as they are confident they pay out more per file than others so users get a lot extra, but I'll forward your complaint.
I meant instead of $107 we'd like to pay you $1070!

To be honest I got more from Hotfile ($224.01) & Fileserve ($187.60) all of last month, but there was a week where I didn't upload much so can't really compare it for sure. I'm giving it another go at MS this month hoping to see more earning from MS.

 

Thanks for your comparison but this is not a proper comparison. You can earn even $2000 on other file hosts while $100 on MS, it all depends upon other facts . Will you please let us know how much downloads did you have during the same period on hotfile and fileserve along with Megashare, how much files do you have on each file host? what is upload speed? and how early you reached 1000 downloads on each file host?

You don't have to answer each question but kindly compare yourself and let us know if we are still behind others to pay you more!

Why is MegaShare deleting files so quickly? I've posted MegaShare and FileSonic alternative links in the same threads. My MegaShare links become dead in less than a day, while the FileSonic links get deleted after a few days or even more than a week. What's the explanation to this issue?

 

Ok for the month of Nov. with the same amount of files uploaded to all 3 hosts, I got $224.01 from 22874 downloads from Hotfile, $187.60 from 10929 from Fileserve & $107 from just short of 15k downloads from Megashare. Clearly Fileserve pays the best per download but it's also the slowest to get 1000 downloads, which took about 2 days. I can get 1000 downloads a day on Hotfile with Megashare close behind. Of course I've been uploading to Hotfile much longer than to MS so the amount of files I got is clearly different but I can say the difference in download counts is minimal.

Upload speed wise Fileserve & Megashare is the fastest, with 1GB files less than a min to remote upload from my US based VPS. Hotfile upload speed is the worst, it took three times longer to upload the same amount of data than the other two hosts.

So if Megashare pay per download rate is higher, lets say closer to Hotfile rate than I'm sure Megashare can be the top rated filehost in no time.

 

Me too. I gotta say: I bet you included earnings from files uploaded to hotfile and fileserve from before you joined megashare? That would put megashare waaaay in front I get lots more downloads and earning much more with megashare than hotfile or fileserve or filesonic. Don't understand why they're not the biggest file host thread here And vps and rdp uploads are looooads faster, Do you want me to post a comparision. I think a lot of people just don't get megashare? They see $30 for a thousand downloads on whatever host, but dont realise 70% rev is more? I just think they need to do better marketing But hey, thanks hitman and megashare for the opportunity.

 

I can't say much how did you get less or even equal to other file hosts unless I visit your accounts myself and look at your daily stats but on Wjunction forums very experienced uploaders proved it with proves that Megashare is paying highest and giving awesome upload speed as compared to all other file hosts in the market.

Affiliates are getting 10 times higher downloads then any other file host, they say $4 on fileserve and hotfile combine while got $50 on Megashare in the same period of time for the same number of files.

speed is no way imaginable as compare to others. Below is the comparison of one of our affiliates out there...

Megashare - 9MBPS
Hotfile - 235KBPS
Fileserve - 1.2MBPS
Megaupload - 722KBPS

I don't know as I haven't asked them but I am telling what he told us in open forum, our official thread at Wjunction forum, post number 312, page number 32.

 

That was some really good earning. I gotta have to be ready to take a risk of ditching the other filehost & stick with only Megashare which I'm not yet lol. We'll see about that at the end of the month.

 

Ditch out others and give us a full month, I am sure you won't be disappointed. You have around 50k downloads in total on all file hosts, I am sure you would have almost double on Megashare in the same time and your earnings will be higher than all three including Megashare, Fileserve and hotfile of this month.

 

i have started using megashare yesterday only ....but i feel that megashare is good only for small file uploaders .....but i upload around 400mb files and i think i wont be getting as much money as i would have got on other file hosts.
