Heh, split testing is cool. One of my pages is current varying between 0:150 and 1:40 (not the one in my sig). It's amazing what such a huge difference tiny changes can make.

Congrats on the improvement, 2.3% average is something to be proud of.

 

Yeah, the funny thing is I've talked with a few professional copywriters because I wanted to improve my conversion and every single one of them told me that 2%+ is something they probably won't be able to improve.

It just shows the power of consistent split testing.

I've seen the greatest improvements from changing (using multivariate split testing):
Headline
First few sentences of my letter
Call to action
Last call to action after PS

In a few days I'll set up a new test to try to find other factors that play major influence on conversions.... I've also created a 20page bonus that I'll add to my offer, so we just might see even higher conversions really soon.

Hey guys, I've seen someone sent a batch of untargeted traffic. Please don't do that because that kind of cheap bulk traffic NEVER converts. It's just a total waste of money and bandwidth.

Aside from that I'm still working on improving conversions. I'm split testing 2 new bonuses and new testimonials on the site. Should bump the conversions even further.
