@ meebo12: That's because there's too much data and then Firefox craps out. Try to set your files per page to 15 and also would be best to split them into folders.

@ n3wt: You're a genuine troll - You accuse everyone of being me, yet you have no evidence of such. You accuse every spectator in any thread to be me, leaving me thinking that you're either paranoid or simply just mentally challenged.

We didn't scam you. You were unsatisfied that you were getting 200 KB/sec, because your Internet connection suck. There's nothing more to it - Pay some more money to your ISP and get your line faster.

You come in here trying to ruin my thread which is to provide support. With all due respect, piss off out of this thread.

    @ Dangerous: Try IE :)

@ Dangerous: When we've revamped the File Manager page. Will probably be 4-6 weeks to be realistic. We need to change some code specifically for FF.

@RickyFS Yea Yea you're right in one regard, it's not that simple. Actually I was downloading my Files again 7 times in a row and 3 were only counted over the period of 9 hours so your script has to be more complicated then my first assumption(download was with the Firefox, don't have the time nor the desire to download everything again and again with every browser...just test it yourself if you have a dynamic ip-address). Fact is that you're not counting all downloads. It's easy to test your own files if they are counted properly if you have a dynamic ip-address...unlucky for you if you don't. I have to admit that you did quite a remarkable job when it comes to site growing especially in such a short amount of time...But your scripts aren't working like they should and I'm pretty sure you know that as well...Guys out there are making huge amounts of money for you. If they would invest the time in website developing and how to attract people they would earn 100 times more, they're just wasting their time with your affiliate in my opinion...And this state is more then laughable:mad: Ech3lon: "Your estimates are pretty much useless. Those people who do estimates doesn't take into consideration what users are visiting the site.
To your assumption about us not counting for Firefox users. We do - Our servers don't care who or what connects to it. It doesn't go "Ah, it's a firefox user let's not count it". Don't know how you came to that conclusion. It would mean that every accelerator/download manager out there wouldn't be counted either." Quite the opposite is the case with me. You guys are knowing exactly what kind of guys are visiting your site, you know from your logs which ip-adress they have, can see where they come from(again IP...even though it's not always 100% accurate due to proxys etc.) what browser their using and so on...So by knowing that approximately the half of your visitors are using Firefox it would be a good way of saving quite an amount of money for not counting some of their downloads... And I think I stated how I came to this conclusion but it was only half true yes, like I said it's more complicated. Well as a side note: It's not a personal thing, there is much competition you can switch to( even though I'm not sure if some of them are also feinting with some stuff, I have other main sources of making money) but seeing that you're site isn't working as it should and you're not telling them is, I have to admit, pissing me quite off. I was actually thinking of making a video but the hell it takes sometimes hours till the downloads are counted... Like I said guys test it yourself and you will see it. The assumption of mine is based on experience not out of conspiracy or bad mouthing Fileserve due to a personal Vendetta.

Well try your luck better elswhere, atleast till things are working like they should and they are actually concede to it.

And DANG3ROUS is the perfect example of what I mean...Why the issues with the Firefox and no comment from FSRicky like: "Yes I know there are quite some issues with the Firefox but our IT-Team is working on the issue. I will keep you guys on track and it should be fixed asap." or something like that...No RickyFS is giving the "advice" of using the IE instead...

Oh man, but well have fun guys...

Oh man again a new state that makes me even more suspicious sorry...But 4-6 weeks for a revamp of the Filemanager. How many guys are you? Sorry "but to change some code" doesn't take 4-6 weeks, it has to be more then that or you are low on guys( Again personal experience...). I know how hard it is to revamp code but 4-6 weeks for the Filemanager? Come on guys...

@ Echelon: Your poor attempt to try to defame us is like water on a duck.
No matter how much you try to disprove us, there's a reason why everyone is making the most with us. Fact.
We don't shave your downloads. Fact.
If you want to try your luck with CPA offers and make your little squeeze page of zip-code offers, you're welcome to - This is an entirely different business and business model.

And your estimate of a business like ours to be around 54 Million USD is clearly wrong. Who came up with such figures? Did you? Did "investors"? Did some sloppy webpage who estimates user traffic to (what was it..40 million? [wtf]) and multiply it with 1.5 USD make up such a figure?

When you attempt to quote me, please do it in a structural way. Seperate the lines, use [ quote ] // [ / quote ] etc. Had a hard time crunching my way through.

Again, you have no idea what this business is and how it converts. If you did, you wouldn't have slung off some figures like that, especially as you try to come off to be a well-versed Internet marketer. If we had made 54 Million (or was worth that), I'm sure my boss would have folded some time ago and moved away to a little island that he would have bought with the money made. Obviously you have no idea of the traffic quality of users visiting our site, nor have any idea of the geographical estimates we have for each country besides the shoot and miss figures from compete.com and alexa.com ...

If you do expect it is so easy to run a filehosting service, I encourage you to try. And when you launch please give your users real-time updates of stats. I want to see that happen and how you code it.

Again, please do not comment on things you have absolutely no clue of - Our file manager was bugged from Firefox from day one - We fixed it, a new issue of "sorting" arose. We are fixing that. This has still NOTHING to do with downloads and how downloads are counted. Please make a filehosting, let's see how far you get before you fold :)

You've made a total $59.46 ...How is that even close to $90?

Ricky knows the jig is up. He tried to stop me but I got everyone to know abt his money lauderin scheme. I jus got a pm from a guy who stated he was working for a investigation from his file servers in new jersey...he seems to work for choompa or a big isp that has been investigating this company... u can expect more and more bad reviews now that his fake user scheme has been exposed by fileservescam.com

Oh man, first chill out. I never said it'll be easy to run a Filehosting service. Second why so upset? If you're so sure about your business why the hell do you have to defend it with such an attitude? And for the quote part, I'm just lazy but here as proof for you that I can quote...
(Well to be honest quite funny, remembers me of the time when I first started with HTML years ago..) Real Time stats are a little more complicated that's true but the main issue is that it costs a lot more bandwidth...Look at Filesonic they have almost Real-Time stats. For the next part how I came up with such a sum...Oh man like I said it's estimated and your site is just tracked like almost any other site out there. It's gives quite a good overview how big a site is. Try Youtube for example...that's probably the most seen site at the moment, so Websiteworthchecker.com is quite accurate when it comes to see the size of a site. Ok so you now atleast admitting that you have issues with the Firefox since the first day...How many people are you guys? Also as a service provider you should keep always a friendly tone even if people are attacking you, it makes people suspicious if you talk to them like they're your neighbor...If you really don't have something up on your sleeves then chill out because you shouldn't have anything to fear..And guys really try it out with the dynamic ip, still have only counted 3 downloads for 7 using the firefox and now 12 hours have passed since then... And you're almost the only Filehoster where people are complaining about scam...atleast from the bigger ones. Why is that I ask you? Surely there is a reason behind it. But have fun RickyFS, try guessing what I do personally( Internet Marketer haha...if you would know.. but well...)

Hope things will getting better for everyone

Hmmm I hope we get like 'last download date' in filemanager so we'd be able to monitor if the files will be deleted soon...
