Another query raises with point 1-- downloading from how many IPs does not ban U ? I remember RS banned/changed pwd when we used more than 3 ips a day for d/l .

 

i said multiple people i never mentioned ip's.......like there are sites that buy accounts from filehosts then let other people for payment download files with these accounts, using their server to download, for fileserve this would only look as one ip but its many people using this account (for example http://www.leechpack.com/) so its not the ip's that really matter with account sharing....i just wouldn't worry to much about this stuff, if your clean then nothing will happen.

@ jimbo-53: Of course not but when you go out on a limbo to claim otherwise and you know you've been abusing our service, then one must learn some integrity and respect, in which there must have been a lack of in the upraising.

@ kpic: See Mogggy's reply. Basically it's quite simple. Don't think you can try to circumvent, cheat, or mess with our system. Play by the rules and we don't touch you. If you don't play by the rules, see maniek6's attempt to claim innocence.

Keep in mind that we are not the black sheeps or the evil wolf trying to discourage our users. If anything, we're encouraging users, but some just do not understand how to play by the rules that were set from day one.

 

Hi, i have a question.

If FS blocks all IP of my country or ISP of my country blocks FS, i have to use proxy, SSH or VPN tunnel to use my account.
I am afraid that FS suspects my account is being shared by multiple users for I login in FS by different IP in a short time.
How can FS detect my user is innocent?

BTW， hotfile has been blocked in my country for some days till it's back, i have mailed to Contact for I use proxy.

 

good point. why should someone buy 2 accounts to share with each other?

I have 2 problems to submit to you.

1) I have a premium account and during this week I sent 2 links of 700mb to my girlfriend without a premium account (anonymous) and she downloaded my files (I'm sure, was a video and she saw it) but in statistics I haven't any download counted in the range of 450-2048 MB so I think your affiliate program doesn't work very well...


2) remote upload works very well, I think now it's the best one in the world for speed and quality, but if I remote upload from Megaupload I get my premium account banned for multiple ips downloading at the same time, last time they told me 12 different ips were downloading... I changed my account's password before starting remote uploading from you so I don't think someone else was using my account... Do you use different servers with different ips to remote upload? could you assign only 1 server to every user's remote upload submission?
for example: I submit 20 links to remote upload and they are uploaded from the same server with the same ip, so I won't get banned from other file hosting service... then I submit other 10 links and they could remote uploaded from another server and so on...

1. works like a charm. Guys making 100+ USD/day doesn't really complain that much...I heard.
2. You don't get it banned. We haven't heard of such a case. We don't do 12 different IPs, let alone 12 different slots. You or anyone else doesn't have that luxury of us grabbing 12 files for you.

1) I don't say it doesn't work, but I suppose it doesn't count all downloads... people generating hundreds of downloads can't know if you are counting all of them, but when someone like me generate few downloads notice it...

2) I get banned twice from megaupload for multiple ip downloading at the same time, so or you have 12 different ips for remote upload or you steal premium account informations, because I changed my password before remote uploading for security reason, so except me and your remote upload form, nobody else knew the password

 

The speed doesn't seem to be stable, it fluctuates
And sometimes it takes a few seconds for site to load.

Other than that, good job

1. I can guarantee you that we count all uploads. Don't know what else to say - Too many people can testify to this as somehow they moved from "other" services to ours and suddenly their income boomed. Strange, much?

2. We don't need your information. We don't store them, but instead they're used for grabbing the necessary files. Yes, we could go ahead and grab your information and use it...for what purpose?

 

if you don't have multiple servers (with different ips) for remote upload, why megaupload banned my account twice? this is the last message I received:

I BOUGHT 2 ACCOUNTS One for me one for my cousin. He don't logged for my account and i don't logged into his account are you understand or are you idiot?
So how could I share the two accounts at two of the same people?

I can confirm this. I went premium on a service and put some direct links from them into your remote upload system. I wasn't downloading anything from the service.

The first file was accepted and went through, but the others weren't. When I returned back to the service I had a message waiting there "You are not allowed simultaneous downloads from different IPs" and I was banned for 24h.

this suggestion would be very good
simultaneous Remote Uploads are not the problem, they just have to have the same IP
or at least we can check a button in RU and the files get necessarily uploaded one after the other so there's no simultaneous downloading issue
I don't wanna get banned on other sites for something like this

 

You can fix this by doing 1 remote upload at a time........i find it a bit weird you blame everybody for your own laziness.

 

We did check and that's why you were banned. Simple. Tell us why you feel that you were singled out? Honestly.

 

Well I have been banned too in Megaupload because of remoting uploading to Fileserve and that really sucks that happened just this week do Fileserve change anything that Megaupload had detected this only happen this week last few weeks I have no trouble... Please check this Thanks
