I think FS performs better than HF. when I started with HF, it took me 20 days to reach minimum payout ($15). with FS, I only take 6 days to reach minimum payout ($20).

my stat for the first 30 days:
HF =~ $23
FS = $153.8

so it's confirmed FS is better.

for the request payout, I believe it depends on Account dept. if they trust your traffic sources then the payout will be processed faster. as for me, always request on Monday and constantly paid on the same day or Tuesday or maximum on Wednesday.

HF counts all downloads
FS only poor 6(6 suspects, for me at least)

HF is easier than people download (PR 6, mos high pr)
FS is difficult than people download (PR 1, poor pr, and do re-captcha)

Last time i checked there where more then 48 countries in this world, For example a chinese download will add to the total downloads but will not add to the stats,

$153.6 within 30 days
compared to $30+ with HF

 

for me its different. i have been uploading for 4 days, and i earned $27.67 from HF and just $15 from FS... i upload the same files in both HF and FS btw...

 

@ krazy4u: If we were shoulder to shoulder in traffic with Hotfile (see alexa - good indicator) then you would be making 4x as much - Anyone would. We're still 4x smaller than Hotfile.

@ lucy88: And you need to wait 30 minutes with Hotfile. What's the problem? You get ReCaptchas on Hotfile's too. We pay out higher and for all countries. We don't ban people unless they try to defraud us. Your arguments are mindboggling (not positive). We had to re-introduce captchas because we gave people their wish and wants, but was screwed over by similar people or whoever found it funny to download with C blocks of VPS and not giving us legitimate traffic. Blame them.

@ Kaizoku: Who else would you use? Alexa has great estimates of user-traffic. So how big you think HF is compared to us?

@ chapin13: You broke our TOS. We keep your username alive and information there, so you can never use the same on our site again.

 

FileServe is much better than Hotfile. That's mostly because you offer higher rates for 200 MB and 450 MB files and files are "platinum" all the time (there's no jumping up-and-down rates per 1000 downloads).

Counting all the downloads is not the biggest plus. Hotfile might have "only" 48 countries counted but those are still the most internet-developed countries in the world - so your downloads will be coming from best downloaders countries. Also, they're all in one tier, if you were platinum all the time and shared only 100 -199 MB files, it's hard to say that FS would be a better option for you. Very questionable since their high traffic.

All downloads counted from D (all others) is not what's gonna make you rich here. Shouldn't think of that part as "the main part that makes FS way better than HF", it's the other possibilities mostly.

 

Everyone has their pros and cons, when developing a price scheme.

We could have followed HF's model, but what would be answering if people started questioning how they do their ranks? Stay quiet? We thought to keep it transparent an easy... And other filehosts has followed the same model since we presented it. The Gold, Platinum, Paper status is an old chapter and from the other millennium.

I also wonder..Can you download 2gb files as a Free user from HF?

i put my uploaded files into 2 folders but now i can't open those 2 folders to get my links out.

another question:

i have buy 3-month premium membership,download speed is fast,just close to my bandwidth.

and when i use IDM,i set my account detail into IDM,i copy fileserve links into IDM, IDM sometimes can get the correct file size,and i can download,sometimes IDM get only HTML file from fileseve.

could you change your link checker, just like filefactory do,filefactory offers a link checker that not only check the availablity of files but also offer direct download links when premium users are using the link checker.

because i need directly download links to download. if i just download 1 file ,i can just paste that link in my ff broswer,and IDM will capture the direct link to download. but what if i have 100 links to download?? i don't wanna use Jdownloader

 

@ playoffs: The folders you created contained "@" in them. When you create folders, please stick to the English alphabet and don't add %$^& etc.

You get only HTML files because you aren't logged in via the browser to FS.

We don't offer direct download links for public display of copy + paste in order to discourage mirrors and passing it around to friends.

IDM will automatically get the direct link if you right click on a marked FS-URL in a forum from that forum.
You can paste the link too into IDM clipboard. Done that a trazillion times.
