my account disabled too & since a moment a don't really upload on fileserve then there is no real reason they close my account for this kind of reason.

i can't have access on my account but all my files can be download.
If they disable account, they delete the files in the wake then I think it's a general prob, you have to wait & fileserve staff will fix it.

Fileserve have abandoned this official thread a long time before. Its an enough clue to affiliates that they are going to close their affiliate program soon. They were waiting for a right time to end and now due to megaupload closing they ended their affiliate program too so they can tell its due to copyright issues. But the fact that everyone should consider is that they have simply blocked the account access with all files online and their site is working well too unlike megaupload which is fully seized by FBI. So I think its due to some other reason not due to recent SOPA issues.

    I'm agree with this.
Fileserve have probs since a moment.
    - Hardest to upload files since month (only ftp works)
    - Earnings downgrade
    - ...

all of this is not new

Dunno why they put on the brakes! just move out of the U.S. MU problems is they had servers in the U.S. Thaddle is moving offshore as we speak. I will upload to them as soon as they are ready.

There is value in security. i will change to thaddle once they are relocated offshore. They are more than simply filesharing so perhaps not as open as a target.

Lost 6TB of uploads but of course also lost the mirrors (Megaupload and Filesonic). It doesn't matter where they're located, the Feds can bring them down, and this is pre-SOPA to boot. I'd like to hope for this or that host to be "the right one" but it's just not smart to invest or upload to anywhere new until the future becomes clear. It's possible that either all hosting will be at continual risk and people will just hop from one to the next, or that the Feds will stop pursuing Asia based ones or something and there will be new mainstays, but it's just as likely that everyone will just revert to torrents, and little or no money will be involved. That fact alone might keep it from skylining with the Feds.

If you have most of your traffic from Europe, maybe you should consider Uploaded it pays in Euro and the payout is really high: 30 Euro for 1000 files over 100 MB, I have received no less than 1500 Euros in last 3 months as my main downloaders are from France.

Remember also Uploaded didn't close their affiliate program and surely will not as they don't have servers in the US and now are unavailable in the US (a decision theyn say they were considering since weeks as for them the US wasn't a big part of their business)

They commented on that on their site and it is beacause of the high load on their servers they are experiencing right now, but they promised to resolve that in the few coming days.

They closed my account too - it was totally empty lol - nothing there to break their rules.
I really don't care about fileserve though - that rickyfs was a really slimy character - every time I had to speak to him I felt like I needed a shower afterwords.

My account has been disabled by those fileserve scammers. I didn't have illegal files on them, only 3 or 4 files that I shared with my staff from work, DOCUMENTS. I only used fileserve to download stuff.
    Scammers.
