I'm new here. But, I've been trying to deal with support directly for weeks with no luck. I've already read what's being said here about a lag time in download counts, from minutes to a day and a half. But, I've got a different problem and it's just about to cause me to stop buying FileServe, unless someone can fix it.

Since I first got an account over a month ago, I've been uploading and racking up $$. And about 3 weeks ago I bought a premium account. Since around that time, the downloads FROM NEW LINKS stopped being counted. For up to 5 days, my counters on new links would read 0, while FileSonic and Deposit Files were racking up counts. I complained to email support - which takes days to respond - and they've told me (in order), they're working on it, it's fixed, we're sorry, we're working on it. In the meantime... the ONLY time downloads are being counted on new links is when I send a complaint to email support. Then about 3 or 4 days later they will finally START getting counted. Obviously, the first few days are going to get the most counts and I've been robbed of those on over 50-60 files. I purposely did NOT complain to support about one set of files (just to see if support was only responding to my complaints). And those STILL have not been counted. Not even 1 count, while Fsonic & DP are up in the 30s to 50s per file.

I WANTED to get a year of FileServe. The week to 10 days when I first began were great. But, now... I've got to wait 3 or 4 days just for a reply from support while NONE of my new links get counted for anywhere from 3 to 5 days. In one case, over a week.

I need a fix...

PS: I bought Deposit Files last night and attempted to Remote Upload some files to FileServe (in the scant hope that THAT might help my problem - because obviously, my account is somehow "broken"). I uploaded nine files - all between 98MB and 140MB each. They all imported last night into Fileserve - EXCEPT... at 14.68KB each. By the way... The same files remote uploaded into FileSonic perfectly.

 

Remote upload to Filesonic doesn't work.

Today I've downloaded +100 GB from Fileserve. Six links didn't work, even if I tried from other premium account or as a free user (in this case they let you wait and fill in captcha ). It seems that Fileserve automatically block some files if they are leeched within a large group of files. But is not an exception: Filesonic does the same!

now...how much time we have to wait?

the delayed now it's 4+ day...

Mine stats is dead too. Also DL column in file manager is frozen.

 

Honestly my premium ended, even can't generate the new one.
Can't upload anything... and I'm not going to buy one from PP.

 

I am new here but I've been a Fileserve Affiliate for a long time.

I started using Fileserve one month after it was launched, I was invited by a Fileserve Admin from guess what - a famous p0rn forum and he even gave me a premium account to start with... during the early months, each of my files generate 150 to 200 downloads on the first 24 hours of posting (sometimes up to 300DLs). Then came the "Freezes" and so called "Maintenance" and after that... as Fileserve continue to gain momentum and gain a lot of users/downloaders... and as my files continue to pile up, my download statistics went down when I was expecting it to go up. I have been an uploader since the Rapidshare Days and I know which files are hot and which are not... After those "Freezes", it's been so hard for my files to get past the 50 DLs mark on the first day of posting and to think that the number of 'places' I am posting my files to have multiplied at least 5 times, if you add up the number of members in all those 'places' its gonna be in hundreds of thousands.

Although I am not drawing any conclusions, It's hard to believe that nothing unusual is going on with the Fileserve stats. When I learned of Oron which was just starting to get popular, I mirrored my files to see the difference and guess what, my files in Oron generated at least 100-150 DLs a day while @Fileserve which is already way ahead in Alexa rankings and has a lot more users, my files only generate at least 50 DLs. Then I mirrored with Hotfile and I averaged 300 DLs per file (but Hotfile was already so popular and I expected it), With Filesonic I average 100-150, same with Oron, and with FileFactory ave 50-100DLs. Its just hard to believe that Fileserve is on the bottom. Stats was never the same since those 'Freezes" and 'Maintenances".

And I know of others with same experience.

On the positive side, FS never fails to pay every wednesday. I get answers from Admin within 24 hours. RU to and from most filehosts works fine and FTP with Filezilla didnt give my any problems.

This is just my opinion, I will continue to use FS but I wanna hear what they have to say about this.

 

Wow. This thread is a pile of trash. I have used FileServe in the past, requested a payment and got paid withing a week. Didnt have any problems whats so ever. Good luck to you all.

Hi guys. I have problem with dl count in file manager . It's frozen more than 7 days. Whats wrong. Please respond...

 

I have the same problem the download count it's frozen by days and in many cases my files are dmca removed before updating the counter.

How do get responses in 24 hours from administration?
It's typically 3 or 4 days for me. And, they're not even responding THAT fast this week.

I'm about ready to give up. Today I'm pulling my FileServe links offline.
Since they're not getting counted, they're just stealing paid downloads from my FSonic & DP links.

 

i have 2 request from 14-02 and 06-03 still now pending?

@ Willard1: The file manager count is of course lagged by more than a day and a half now. Due to high traffic and maintenance we had to put this raw data on hold; it is a lot to count for fails, completes, premiums etc. If you wanted real time updates for your file manager stats, our site would probably not be accessible, thus, you wouldn't make a dime. That I am sure you don't want as we don't that either.

@ merc: I do not recognize this, but obviously an average personal home-connection wouldn't be able to leech 100GB in a day. Moderate usage is the keyword.

When the file manager stats are back to normal; don't know. Techs figuring it out. Yes, it is 4+ days now.
