I think I need to visit Austria one day to check the speed for myself.
Must be the only country/ISP in the world that lets the users load the file manager slow according to CinaySebeke.

your page is buggy and slow, code them new and support your uploader truly!

i have use, internet explorer, opera and firefox, with all browsers the same shit!

and i'm not alone with the slow speed! go to gully board and read other people from germany who upload to fileserve, they all have problems with our page m8.

 

It works fine here and there's nothing wrong with the File Manager. I don't recognize slow speed and I'm connecting via Hong Kong

There's no bugs regarding JAVA or the Ajax that's being loaded. The speed of our file manager has been improved tremendously. Ask other users in here or on other boards.

 

Yes i takes a bit but with all the loads it has to do, but it never took more then a minuts, but i have a crazy amount of files and folders on the server, on a programmers point of view the file-manager-action.php is a realy nice api.
also i looked through the gully board couldn't find that many threads about this problem, but feel free to point to some posts with many replies

he looks like you started this thread today, you and your server from France.....maybe this thread will lead to many Germans complaining about filemanagers speed. btw i am able to speak/read german when i'm forced to do so, without any translating software.

 

Fileserve is really fast, but only without my login cookie. Opening this page:

with cookie - 30-60 seconds
without cookie (so I had to login and wait anyway about 30-60 seconds) - below 1 second

I have about 1000 files total. No files on root, only 4 directories and lots of subdirectories. Any suggestions how to speed manager up?

Hello; i have a problem uploading files on my account. I upload files correctly, no errors, but even after several days, some files do not appear in my "Manage Files" window. How is this possible? Am i doing something wrong?

There's a BIG problem with your links generator since months...

The conflictive link is: "http://www.fileserve.com/file/adNtK9" which is only 6 characters long (normal link has 7)

This link appears randomly, you can see here that there are several uploaders that has recieved that link:

btw: i have upload some files, after 1 hourse they are not in filemanager
i dont no but i'm thinking about to upload only on filesonic, i upload to filesonic per ftp with 25 - 35MB/s per file.
fileserve 500 - 700kb/s

@ lycae: Your point is..? That file must have been a century old.

@ CinaySebeke: 3 weeks won't go any faster for you no matter how much you write on here every day about how many "big" problems we have. Fact is that we have no limits for uploads, so this gives everyone a free ticket to bitch about how slow this and that is. Maybe we should just hit up a limit for everything coming in? Block everything going out to other hosts? Maybe hit you guys with a penalty system for uploading too much..? Sounds like fair game to me if it shuts you up...OR...you can wait 3 weeks.

 

Files are uploaded via ftp, but its not seeing in file manager.
