2. Attempts will be shown in the File Manager. Having to monitor how much of a file we have sent out (by your suggestion, the percentage) is too troublesome.

You have to remember that files downloaded by Premium users are only counted 1x in the stats report, where as in the file manager it will be counted as many times as it is downloaded by the same premium user. try to download your own file 10x

 

Hi i have sugested this to support a couple of times and it is never implemented but i understand as it is a low pirority. The remote upload feature would be great if it could do direct http links that do not need a username and password. This is the only reason i do not use fileserve anymore.

Please consider removing the need to have a username and password when remote upoading as most of my remote upoads are direct single links. I cannot upload because of this.

Just a suggestion and it seems logical to add this as it allows both direct links and also those that use other filehosts to ru.

The only way i found around this is it use a tinylink gen to make my direct link e.g. myhost.stuff.myvide.avi to randomtinylink/3dhd8uhd - just made up examples. But then the filename once upoaded is just a mess.

I'll see if I can find the file at another filehost; fileserve obviously does not want me to download it.

If the site is broken have the courtesy to tell us so we don't waste our time.
if there are no free slots available at least be honest and don't make us do the dance
Rapidshare used to say "all download slots busy...try again it 5 hours"

 

Ricky, fileserve is still to slow from austria.
our provider sucks realy -.-
but the provider from userporn is realy nice, i can upload with 5MB/s.

fileserve upload is only 700kb/s

 

The website is VEEEERY slow

anyway to bulk rename files rather than doing one by one. So rename a load of files at once then select apply or something rather than select one file - rename - wait a bit - go back to dashboard - select another file ... etc

 

ricky i see my files around 40 minutes later after ftp upload

 

lol fileserve sucks again. ftp upload maximum 120kb each file, that sucks !!!

I just have some problem recently with my home computer which mainly for uplaod to Fileserve purpose. After My vacation, I arrange a batch of file to upload, Suddenly, My upload is very slow and i don't know why, but my office upload is very good speed?
So I cancel all upload and try to upload with Bitsahre and the upload is reasonable ok???
So i upload to fileserve again, waiting for 1 day, only 1 file is done, all other has stopped and keep reuploading with corrupted file>?>
Any ideal?

 

Please add refresh button and don't change the file sort we set

 

Can any offer a list of filehosts that work well to remote upload "To" fileserve that is fast

I am from Hong Kong and I got blocked from FileServe
How can I get access to FileServe as I would like to be affiliate of FileServe

 

Eleven of my files disappeared from mu account and they are not in the DMCA tab. Is it because of they were older than 30 days ?

 

@ mcmoore: We would need to update our tab in order to include for direct links, since we don't want to mix hostings + direct links up. There's no guarantee of this being efficient either, as some certain individuals tend to like to abuse a service that is handed to them for free.

RS => FS is stable and fast.

@ thinkbigger: Haven't experienced this of jumping back to the first page. The site is certainly not broken as there's thousands and thousands of users who type in the captcha and successfully download. If it was broken the uploaders wouldn't make a cent.

@ CinaySebeke: We are not the same company, so maybe they have a different setup.

The FTP was made for personal home upload speeds. They were never meant for user running their VPS + an FTP program in order to Upload. That we have our webupload for in which you can use different types such as sBorg or Rapidleech to upload with.

@ papucsa: I believe that would be the case. For very old files they don't end up there.

 

Why not allow fileserve to fileserve transfer? surely it is burning up BW because people are using vps to download and then reupload again.

Why not just make it produce a copy when people try to fileserve to fileserve? Would also save storage space. I think many other hosts are just producing a new link to the same file when you do an internal remote on their system.
