@ hikaru: What's wrong? There's a difference in file manager count AND stats report. I've said it before and again; file manager includes fails, attempts, premiums and completes. Obviously it would be a lot more.

That is what I wrote above. Principle Fileserve and we uploaders are in a same boat but in this case there is a paradox. If it is good for Fileserve (more premium users), then it's bad for us uploader (less counted downloads)... I think this rule, 1 premium user can download even 100 different files (in 24 hour) and it's only 1 counted downloads, it's not good. Why is penalized the uploader with this rule, if a premium user downloads from him?
And thinking ahead, Fileserve will have more and more premium user in the future, than this problem will be biger and biger for the uploaders...
Ricky! Should not Fileserve change this rule to be fairer?

@ Guli: It's an industry standard. People will abuse it otherwise and start queuing terabytes of data up just to boost their earnings. It was seen when we didn't apply captcha that users would rent VPS of different C-blocks and start queuing files to boost their earnings. The world isn't pink and great for your information. Where there's an exploit people take advantage of it.

How about it becomes more fair that say, 50% of your users convert to Premium for us? Then maybe the people working at Fileserve can get a little bonus...You never thought about us, no? Just yourself and...yourself...?

I have to agree with ricky's statement, there are so many cheaters nowadays who wanna make easy money with abusing with things like this so it's normal for them to have this kind of security.

 

ithink he's right.. i'm as a premium users i download terabytes of files per month...if all my downloads were counted they should give to the uploader a lot more money than i gave to fileserve to pay my premium account... fileserve have to earn... with all downloads counted by premium they go bankrupt..

I did a really BIG mistake I forgot to cancel automated payment into my PayPal account. Less then a week ago I've seen an automated payment for 6 month Fileserve Premium Account that I CAN'T USE because you banned me...
I wrote you something like 100 times but no response from you. So here is my question: could you please give me my money back? If you can't, could you please give me a 6 month coupon code so I'll be able to sell it to someone else and have my money back in that way?
I don't want to ask to PayPal to Flag Fileseve as a SCAM so I'm asking it to you.
I hope we will solve it ASAP.

I understand the need to distinguish between the free's and premium user's downloads, but I think this only 1 counted download / day rule (premium user download) is too little. For example the 5 counted downloads / day (premium user downloads) would be better. And why? Because this number also would not allow the massive, manipulated downloads from one premium user, but it would be more realistic the uploaders downloading number. But this is only my opinion.

And for your closing statements: Do not be hypocritical. Primarily everybody think about their own interests (you and me both).

Apart from this disagreement I would like to say that I think Fileserve is likeable site, and I think you guys did a good job to run this file hosting business. It's correct, if I tell this too.

 

Hi Ricky, i have reinstalled my mac today, if i have a keylogger is death!!

Give a chance for try fileserve, i have pay my account from 7 jan to 7 Feb , i change my password when my status is not "user disabled".

I am entitled to another chance. If I had a keylogger, as you said, it was absolutely unknown to me. Besides, I always discharge from home and if I knew that someone was using my account from other places I would have immediately reported the problem. I am opposed to share subscriptions between users.

I also have an account "rapidshare", a megaupload and hotfile one. But the problem I had only FileServe. I also disabled last pass to be sure.

I beg your understanding, I want to be a subscriber to "filserve" by paying a regular subscription, if there was an alert in advance for these problems would be remedied for Potentially sopprusi assiame users.

the payment looks like it's delayed again. I got my payment approved last jan. 17 and till now not yet paid.

 

@ Guli: Your suggestion of 5 downloads/day can't be used for anything. 1 Premium going around to 20 different uploaders racking in 5 files of each = 100 downloads already. Consider the Premium account holder to be from the US, UK or CA, he's already made us 2.5 dollars poorer. You multiply this with 1000 users, you've made us 2500 dollars poorer, try to scale this up further. Now, the cutback would be elsewhere if we implemented this. Say; higher premium prices, download restrictions for premiums AND free, pop ups, the list goes on... That's not what you want right? You're skewing the status quo and I believe no one wants to do that.

I didn't run anything, and I will say again I do not own it. If I did I wouldn't be on here right now It's a joint effort between management, CS and techs.

@ gionata73: If there was an alert in advance all the time, people would stop and continue again a few days later. Why do you think we crack down on premium link generators?

So what is this issue about? The 34.99 or that your account is disabled? The 34.99, you have opened a dispute. Don't know if you won it or not. Your account that is disabled? Don't know the reason behind it, but we don't flag people randomly

At this point, since I can not get my account paid regularly, remove the automatic payment by paypal, I do not feel satisfied, I acted in good standing, if I was the victim of a work by hackers, unknown to me, and I can not do anything to give up forever filserve, who prefers to have fewer people paying premium with this attitude. My concern will be disclosed on the forums I usually go to my bad experience. Thanks for your answers anyway

 

@ sk8er431: Correction: You had your transfer approved on the 17th. Then you requested payout on the 20th. It's been 6 days and you should check your PP account

@ gionata73: You are the one showing attitude. I'm simply stating what your account has been involved with. You think we have the time to chase a random person down and close their account? We have better things to do here than doing that.

Hi, when i restart my PC or quite browser for a while then go back to FS, it requests i login in again, so i set auto-remember account and password next time. does someone else has the problem as well?
