@ jobo: Not at the moment. We're building the mod for the download manager so it will become an upload tool too.

@ all: Check file manager speed. It should be much quicker now versus before. Also a new version of the file manager will roll out. We would need your help for feedback and such.

and why i don't receive the mail when i delete myself a file?

 

Don't know. It should be sending to you if you delete your own files.

 

i often delete file but these mails arrives only sometimes... and all together.. And without file names in it..

 

@Ricky FS : my id is dvdmania81, i just extend my premium, but after that, my files dissapear in file manager, could u check it please, something wrong? thnkx

@ phate85: If they don't arrive it could be the email provider hardblocked emails from us in a certain period of time. And no, the emails will never contain links.

@ saxford + semiclip: Ctrl + F5 and all the issues solved.

 

@ all: What new file manager does:

-Rename function is now fixed.
-Should be quicker to load.
-Files are listed from newest (to oldest) as "default"

@ all: Hints for getting your files listed quicker when you enter "My Files" - Limit it to 15 files per page and it will be super fast. If you list 500 it will be slower than if you listed 15. Spread the word

 

It's normal there is no link..but there is not even file names..Why you send a mail with "The following file are deleted:"
but you didn't put the name of the files?
and btw other mails arrives just fine..only these arrives in this way

i hope you can add soon also the moving of the folders.. all other file hostings have this feature

 

Will have that noted down. We are currently focusing on export + mass-rename, so that's what is next in line

I am getting a Lot of Failed Uploads when i try Remote Uploading from other hosts to Fileserve...Anyone facing the same problem...it's pretty much annoying when u see some parts uploaded and some not and everytime i have to check through each and every upload...

Is it a temporary bug or something ....

 

@ FSBB: Export links from your file manager into .csv format.

@ speedblitz: Depends where you're uploading from. MU has a funny tendency now of some usernames not able to remote upload, while other usernames have the files as "success".

Nope, the change is great, its much easier to get the files now. besides why would you want to see the oldest uploaded files first?

 

Isn't simply possible to remember the last used method so everyone is happy? because a lot of people use more often last files.. other use more often sorted by name..
If you remember the last is all solved..

 

I think that will put more strain on the sever, if there are a million members and all have different choices and all of them close their sessions after a few minutes then re-open them, the server will have more requests to cater to, thus a slower file manager( but i'm not sure about this)

 

if you order by name, date, size or whatever is still a sort query to the database... And btw if i like more the files sorted by name and you sort me as default by date the work on the db is double... because before i load by date and after that i do another query to get it sorted by name...
An option or simply remember the last choice will solve this kind of choice..
