    The downloads count are important to know if the files we upload are appreciate or not.
    it's important for uploaders to know what the users prefer to download. it can improve our contribution to know the number of downloads. it's a proof of quality ;)

    I post my thoughts as constructive criticism. True that Ricky, you have not nor will see me complain about not getting paid. I have always had.

    Download: easy yes, the best not.

    Personally, dunno about others, as mentioned if I grab for example links with Internet download manager FS is always the slowest in giving me the actual download url, with the likes of HF or MU I get them almost instantaneously while I have to wait several seconds with FS.

    Lime mentioned its depends but for some reason or another people loves MU or for example if given FS HF MU links its easy to tell which one people prefer.

    Now the last few days as mentioned by another user I have got in a several times that issue about the 406-landing page and the cookies issue, that had NEVER HAPPENED before.

    The not changing your IP solution does not cut it out when you are freshly grabbing the links, I was for example grabbing 50+ links and several redirected me to the 406-landing page.

    I could not even download a couple urls as I was always getting that error and no I did not have the download queued for days for the link to be expired or that my ip changed. I repeat something must have changed as I had never had that issue before with FS. This is common with filesonic thou.

    Stats: You know they are very important and you can easily see it with so many here complaining with this major issue you have had for some time now. It leads to frustration to not be able to see how your files are doing. If you are not an uploader guess you cannot see how frustrating it could be to see 0 downloads for days or when your earnings dont update.

    Others give you real time stats or delayed an hour or so but never in the level of them being frozen for days.

    EDIT: @gunnm412. There you have it Ricky. Stats are way too important.

    Site: Working fine? hardly. I dont see how it could be working ok when you have slow file manager, 0 download counts for days now, this morning file manager was not even loading so I could post links for people to download. Working fine as of this minutes yes thou. Site inaccessible for brief periods of time sometimes, again this just happens to me with FS.

    I am comparing to HF and MU, both have been around longer that FS and never with so many bugs. Bitshare I just mentioned because it pays more than FS, which is honestly the reason so many switched to FS for sharing.

    Again Ricky, if should be frustrating to you to read me and others always complaining but in my case is because I use mainly FS and as you mentioned despite bugs its very reliable and currently the be$$$t option for sharing you files, has ALWAYS PAID me yes, otherwise I wouldn't even bother to waste 20 minutes in writing my concerns.

    I understand your job of direct contact -mainly with uploaders- is tiring, I understand you dont like people complaining, but manifesting our concerns and issues is important for your company to give a better service. I hope you understand that and direct our concerns to the people that can fix them. Thank you.

    I have contacted your support team for a month. And nothing has been done to solve my problem.

    I have a FS premium account (6months) One day, I logged into my account and my password had been changed. I decided to recover by using forgot password option. After that, I took my account back. BUT, a day later, you and your team DISABLED my account without any reasons. I have tried many ways to CONTACT to you and your company. =.=

    So, plz take a look at my account plz. I have purchased legally and I have do nothing wrong with my account. That's the way you treat your premium user who spend money for higher download speed?

    @ shionxx: Let me just break it down so it doesn't go out in one long responds:

    -The grabbing of files / getting the direct link is mostly to do with how fast you retrieve it from our servers. My own home connection gets these direct links instantly (within a second). At times I can agree with you that it may take an extra or two seconds; that's due to a server having popular files on it.

    -The 406 issue. We changed the cookie so punks can't share their direct links with their friends and get on a free ride. I haven't experienced a 406 issue by now, but we may have located what this could be. For certain countries you run through the same IP, so that could be one of the reasons for this. Your username would be appreciated in tracking this.

    If people didn't abuse this "exploit" you wouldn't have gotten a 406 to begin with :)

    -Stats: The earnings have been updating regularly and on time. The download count in the file manager may come back sooner rather than later...Or maybe get replaced with an alternative.

    -Site is working fine. Slow file manager has something to do with how you list your files. If you got more files in your root than split up into folders, you may have slower loading. That's one way of loading it quicker. We have other tricks up our sleeves to get quicker loading in the near future. If you've programmed in SQL before you would know how much effort it takes for the system to load XX,XXX files for you or someone else.

    Site was slow for 30 minutes yesterday and slow last week for 2 hours - Hardware doesn't always run perfectly.

    -Comparing us to MU...They've been around for 5 years and haven't changed their File Manager nor done anything about their site for 3 years now. They don't even offer the ability to FTP. Only reason why they're still around is that they have quick download speed. The rest is subpar to all other hosting services.
    Comparing us to HF; should we just lock our CS department down and breeze off, never to be heard from again? They've been around for at least twice as long as we have.

    I hardly find it frustrating. That's why I don't check this forum as much as I'd like to - Keeps my blood pressure down that you guys are making a ton of money yet cries when fixes are not instant.




    @ tulip_flower: It's been weekend + New Years. That means it is holiday.

    @ kysygio: CS department has been instructed not to waste their time on users that have been disabled. Users with such statuses do not qualify for the time it takes to explain what was the cause of their termination.

    I can inform you that the given account was disabled due to Account Sharing.

    Yes, I admited that I have share my account to a friend of mine because he couldn't afford to buy premium account.
    But the problem is you don't inform me any warning or something like that. I think that by becoming premium users
    I have the right to be informed about my problem.

    I was wrong and I regreted about what I have done.
    But can you reactive my account because I need to download many things from fileserve
    you and your company can cut my account life to 3 months or less but please bring my account back

    Fileserve is one of the best file hosting services i have ever used.

    Fileserve Support responded very fast and within a few days, they will fix the problem :) :)

    But my premium download speed is still same as my download speed when i was a free user.
    Only 250kb/s :(

    Having Problems with Remote Upload . When i tried to remote upload files from Another Host , it is taking more than 30 mins for the files to upload and that too certain files are still under processing ... i tried RU ing 5 files eachof 100 - 110 mb size ....Till now only 3 files have been uploaded ....2 are still under processing for more than 30 mins... Dunno why so much time for RU ??

    Trying since last night...when i wasn't able to RU anything ...now only slowly...

    Anyone facing the same problem ??
