I've been watching the forum for updates in situations like this one before. but after reading some comments today, I've felt the need to wright something.

Yes new ftp uploads doesn't show on the file list, maybe they are lost forever; maybe they'll appear on list. So what ? yes it's frustrating but shit happens. Even RS had similar problems and they were the most professional company that this scene will ever see (IMO of course). They are going to survive this as long as they continue to pay the uploaders and giving the free users acceptable download speed (By following the hotfile's footsteps). Maybe users purchasing for more than a month of premium membership won't be much but they'll live on as long as they don't force users to complete surveys, buy stuff etc...

My biggest complaint is (if anyone reading this cares) that they do something about they receiving speeds. Maybe I've been spoiled when I've been uploading to filesonic but sometimes even mediafire gaves me better speeds than fileserv while uploading.

I believe by "bitching" here we are trying to inform ricky here. when it comes to fileserv ricky is the man (I don't want to assume but in the messages he/she seems so hunky)

I've already send them the form.

But ricky is not here so my point is sending a message to support will be faster then everybody starting to post the same problem over and over again, till ricky comes to this forum.

@ Cinay: Doubt that. We have seen a rise in traffic (see Alexa) and we can perfectly cope with it. Why your shit doesn't load fast is beyond me. It loads quickly here and for many others. If you're using IE8 Win7 you may want to take the protection mode OFF. Our pages load equally and as fast as any of our competitors when it comes to the download page, front page etc. If you have 99,000 files in your "My Files" there's a reason for why it could load slower than if you only had 9.

@ synstar: Your impression is clearly wrong and faulted. Lay down the baccy that may make you hallucinate.

@ all: We had a slow loading of webpage yesterday which was fixed within 90 minutes. The FTP faced another issue and had to be shut down for repair so no files were moving - They were resumed within 8 hours. Mind you all that when shit happens it isn't because we are purposely trying to fuck you guys - It happens because we are trying to improve and release new things. Doesn't always go the way we like, and some seems to still fail to understand that OR just have the stubborn mindset that we're destined to fail...Which we are clearly not.

Speeds for FTP and Remote will be even quicker next week, so relax and hang tight.

Uploaded about 10 files and a couple hours later all been removed (DMCA). Are Fileserve usually this fast at removing ALL your files or is this a recent thing?

EDIT: looks like they went directly for my account and wiped it clean as some of the files removed are still active on other accounts. I only just started using Fileserve too after Filefactories skrew up. Guess they don't like me.

They all clampin down on uploaders

fileserve remove files yes - fast is an exaduration , they remove them slower than hotfile but faster than oron. Fileserve generate quite a bit for me weekly so... they are a good site.
