    Payments are issued at the time of PIP and once they send everyones payment they update it to payment sent i guess

    Last month payment was issued on the 24th itself. Why would they drag it to 27th this month?

    Does anyone remember the first PIP date of last month?

    @ravee : because the guys at the western union branches near my place are having their xmas break. WU branches (near our place) will be open on 27, but will be closed for the rest of the holidays till January 2 :(

    But i guess WU at the malls will remain open for the rest of the holidays. Btw merry xmas everyone :)

    why there is no western union payment from adsense in india. every street in india has a western union centre but still no WU payment from the big G. v

    adsense has not come up with WU in India yet. Must be Reserve bank restrictions or something. Then again, whats wrong with the checks? You get them in INR and you can clear it thru your bank account itself.

    If you have a citibank branch in your city/town, the money should hit your account on the 3rd day. If not, your bank will have to send the cheque to the nearest citibank branch to get it collected. That will take time.

    The best thing to do in such case is to courier your cheque to your bank's branch in the city where there is Citibank, and they will clear it for you the 3rd day they receive it. courier should take 2 days, and so with an expense of an extra 50 rupees. Registered post will cost you only Rs 25, and ordinary post will cost you only Rs 5 :D You can get your cheque cleared in about 5 days this way if you dont have a citibank branch in your place.

    if i go to citibank directly with my id proof then can they cash it instantly or do i need an account in citibank also and if i create 1 in citibank will it take 3 days or the same day.

    Im in Pondicherry, and if I am not mistaken, your cheques come here for clearing. Just mail your cheque to SBI here in Pondicherry and they will clear it for you and credit the money into your account.
