It seems as though Lithuanians and Isrealis Chileans love to play games.......almost as much as Americans.... So the trick seems to be how to figure out how to target those people edit: oh yeah.......and apparently english is not a problem for them either.....
Hello People nice thread a new game site owner here (since May 2007) my site http://www.gamesonline4free.net/ Getting most of my traffic from search engines (500 uv/day) since its ranking OK for "free online games" (4th page) and some other related terms but its constantly improving in SERPs I have not done any traffic exchanges or banner exchanges But I'd be interested to find out what I am missing Anyone using them ? Please explain benefits
On Dec 26th 2007 I put up my first arcade. As of today, Jan 6th, it's already had 6,000+ plays. I'm getting in hits google already for over 40 different search phrases. (lots of links on high pr sites will do wonders). I even designed my own custom toolbar with popup blocker, privacy tools, and of course, lots of easy access to games and updates for the site. I want to know how some people are getting, 10,000+ uniques per day. I know my site is VERY new, but I can't seem to get past 250 uv/day. Do I need to start my own banner exchange or topsites program?
Brizzad, Some Big Arcade poeple do own arcade banner exchanges. so Do NOt I own a banner exchange but i only use it to help my site when needed. The main way to exchnage traffic with other sites for example u have 1000 uv a day u send 500 to another website that webistes sends u 500 back ( total 1500) just make sure u send that other 500 to anothwebsite that sends u another 500 back (2000). This is what most arcade work onif u have the writ communication right games good desgin and ready for some hard work u can. also put banner exchnages on ur website only around 3 is best. also look for serp. I started with choseing 3 small keywords and 1 medieum one then 1 big one. Im on google first page for super games real arcade real arcade games med one is free arcade games 4th and big is 2nd opage 3rd place for free games.
Exchanging traffic does help but watch out who you trade with.....in most cases sending people 500 real hits to another arcade to get back 1000 hits will result in you getting a majority of fake traffic back in return.......most people do not know that they are being scammed. Don't believe it? thats ok........just search google for "fake traffic script" or similar terms and keep a close eye on your stats for clues that its happening to you..... Always ask your self "why does this seemingly huge arcade want to trade traffic with me?" Oh...... and if are unlucky enough to be the one getting scammed watch your CPM and ad rates on ad networks drop too. As always with anything in life don't just take other peoples word for it...see for yourself.
Making Money What CPM programs do people use besides ValueClick and CPXinteractive?? I tried BannerConnect on my old site and they were pretty good. Adsense is not the best thing for arcade sites. You need thousands of REAL visitors to make good money. There are a few that get over $0.05 clicks, but not many. Anyone use WidgetBucks on their arcade sites? Their stats irritate me!! What about Kontera? I use them along with other ad programs because they have "in-text" ads. NeverBlueAds is awsome for arcade sites!! It is CPA, but if you have many REAL visitors, you are sure to have some conversions! 100x100 Banner Programs with publisher program... Funklicks (been paid) Onads (been paid) MoreGamers Adtoll (been paid) Reachads (been paid) What else is there for arcades???
THe system itself is quite nice to work with but unfortunatelly they have not attracted many advertisers with result 1 out of 2 displayed ads its to the network thus non paid !!!
Ya. I took the ads down because I had many thousand impressions but no clicks. I will try them again latter.
You could try out http://www.zango.com/destination/publisher/ I have heard from other arcade webmaster that it works out good on there site, and I will self test it out on my arcades sites to see what result it can have.
Here is a banner exchane I run 100x100 ads. I dont make any profit or scam people and have my site on there just as regular as all of the other sites. www.getsumhits.com , I love arcade sites and just want to trade traffic thats what its all about. No bs cheating or anything.
I hate going to sites that try to install Zango, especially since many children visit arcade sites and may get confused and install by accident. I would never put Zango on my site as I have children of my own and I see first hand how they react to it. Not good. I think GamerClix is gonna take some real hard work to get them going. They probably would have been better off going with image ads instead...just my 2 cents worth.
