Launched my massive arcade last week, maybe some of you will like http://www.GameYanker.com - 12,000 flash games and counting.
How do you get traffic for your arcade sites? SEO mostly or what? I find it very competitive, and it would probably make me a year or two to rank for a nice keyword. I just don't get it. Is it possible at all?
Hi, If you don't mind me asking, are you using a custom script or a commercially-available arcade script?
I just bought an awesome flash games site -- see the description and tell me what you think if you want I'm also curious as to what the best way to drive traffic to these kind of sites is. Some said social bookmarking, what else? Does DP work? Are you getting low-value clicks on your sites too?
I want to put in banners to exchange ( topsite exchange ) what php do i edit etc to put in the code?? Thanks
Hi, arcade guys, do you think the comments system is a must thing for arcade site? I have disabled it on one of my arcade site to keep the interface more simple, what's your opinions? Thanks
I have recently setup http://www.gaming.sc and I am promoting via MySpace and also by social bookmarking two games each day. Do you know of any other ways to get good traffic? Also, I am using overgrab and I am having a hard time finding good arcade sites to scrape from does anyone know any?
Not really sure about commenting on arcades. I have an arcade blog type site with traffic & decent games, but hardly anyone comments on them
I found out that if the arcade is a popular arcade, user like to comment on the games, but often to see that people abuse this comment system by spamming it. It would be a god idea to use captcha to make it more secure.
you are stealing my thumbs and resources, see http://www.gameyanker.com/search?q=roiworld&submit.x=0&submit.y=0&submit=Explore! . and my site www.dressupdollgames.net . Beware of this site and all site that uses overgrab arcade script.
Is it only me, or overgrab is pi**ing of also other webmasters? I just don´t like the idea that someone can come and grab my work...
Yeah. When I owned an arcade, I checked for overgrab sites stealing my games. If they did steal them, I was gonna DMCA the owner.
Haha..I am almost gonna grab a copy of overgrab but after thinking deep the effect, I didn't. Its because I have several arcades and did not like the idea of other site using my resources too.
The games aren't your work, their the game creator's and they create games to distribute their games to get revenue.
Hi all, what is the best way to monetize arcade sites in your experience? AdSense clicks values are quite low. Thanks
