Excellent tips...and this can be applied to any site more or less. The hard part I find is because my site is a niche game site..not a huge arcade, I can't find as many new games to add as I would like, but add as much as you can and it will help for sure. Rep added for those. Thanks.
This is just my opinion about your situation with a niche site - but if the games are limited - then I would personally add a blog to the site - play a game throughly and write a detailed commentary about it on your blog pointing to the game link (500-700 words) - then maybe about every six months rewrite the article (tweak it) - and of course give the original author of the game credit and a link as well. This would give your site more fodder for the SERPS and possibly give you a boost with your new new unique content. (I think the term for this is a "Game Walk-Through") Hope this helps.

Ok I signed up for http://www.ArcadeBannerExchange.net earlier and now I'm here to report on my current findings. They say they promote a 10:9 ratio but currently my ratio is more like 10:5. Here's my current stats as well: Generated: 371 Received: 195 So as of now I am displaying almost 2x as much as I am getting displayed.. What happened to that 10:9 ratio? Still going to continue the service for a few more days though to see if ratio improves.
His site is new. You probably have received full credits but haven't used them all yet because his site may not have a ton of members yet.

Here is a few ways to get some Free traffic. Submit individual game pages to Likesthispage.com...or any bookmarking site for that matter ...because google loves those. PR3 and above arcades can submit games HERE . Read the directions and follow them....there is even an option for lower PR sites. Many other busy arcades out there have similar options. Privately trade bookmarking services with other arcade owners vi MSN or PM or whatever...the more visibility you have on the net to search engines, the more hits you will get. enjoy!
