Office PC Keeps Crashing when I leave :(

This is the craziest thing ever. I do computers and programming for a living, so the fact that I haven't figured this out is driving me crazy. Everytime I leave for more than 10 minutes, I come back and my computer has reset itself. I go out for coffee, come back, reset. I go home for the night, come back, reset. Sometimes I run to the bathroom and come back (you don't know what the burrito place across the street is like!) and it's reset. I've seen it blue screen on me once, saying it's a physical memory dump, which is a general cop out (it's Winblows XP) meaning Microsoft just sucks out the ass. It's a quad core, 4gb ram, and it's fairly new, hasn't been used for a full month yet. No crazy programs, no viruses, but strangely enough it did start after this program I downloaded to shut my pc down at a certain time. The program looks legit, I can't imagine that would be it, but it's driving me crazy. I sat down for 6 hours straight and worked without a problem, but the second I ran across the street for a bagel and some coffee, fucker shit out. I'm really trying to avoid having to go in and format it and reinstall everything since it's setup so perfectly, but it's so aggravating to lose all of my open shit everytime I do anything =/

check the power options in control panel-disable hibernation and standby
uninstall that program you mentioned and see if it happens again
    good luck

It's not overheating, it's actually got about 11 fans in it lol. And if it were a heat issue, it should be doing it while I'm working, not when it's idling. It's definitely not going into hibernation or stand-by. There isn't an uninstaller, I don't think it was much more than a free-standing exe, just some little program that isn't even on my computer anymore. There don't seem to be any rogue programs running on my computer, and it can't be a friend playing a joke because they know they'd get cut, and they don't have a key to my office and I'm religious about putting up the password prompt when I walk out of the room. Just annoying as hell.
