I am going to set up office in India where I am going to recruit 5 PHP/ASP programers and 2 know how developers. I am wondering wich city is best to choose. Has anybody any idea or experiences with that? Thank you!
Actually it all depends on the facilities you get in the city you choose. Actually, if you are looking for skill and talent, I think it is available everywhere in India Just find a place where you are comfortable and that will be the best. If you choose Kolkata by any chance, be sure to contact me, I'll help you out.
But what is about costs and what is different in difficulty to get good team? Do you think that I can get team for $500-1000 each one?
Yes you can get good ones for $500 - $1000 range.. Welcome to Kerala - God's own county . Giving some useful links for you http://www.technopark.org/ http://www.infoparkkochi.com/
You can go with Pune too.. Graet city.. with good man power.. but according to finacial times it have beaten bangalore for IT growth came 1st for IT growth in world.. but it still good.. my own city..Pune... try it.. u ll get alot of cheaper place with good man power.
Bangalore Pune Hyderabad Chennai Coimbatore Mysore Kochi (Cochin) All the above small cities in India are having enough facilities for you
Personally I would tell you to choose Kolkata, if you do, I can guarantee the lowest costs compared to other places.
Infrastructure and other facilities are the best at Hyderabad and Bangalore. That's why google and other giants are having centers at these cities. But other listed cities are also improving fast. In terms of bandwidth, cochin (kochi) is the city to watch ,especially Dubai Internet City(www.dubaiinternetcity.com) is setting up Smart City at Cochin very soon. Talks are in the final stages. The Smart City will operate just like the DIC, which offers foreign companies 100 per cent tax-free ownership, 100 per cent repatriation of capital and profits, no currency restrictions, easy registration and licensing, stringent cyber regulations, protection of intellectual property.
To add to the above..... Advantage of Kerala * Strategic location on the trans-national trade corridor * Well connected road and rail network * Three international airports at Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Cochin * An international seaport with container cargo handling facility at Cochin * Excellent communication network * Highest density of science and technology personnel * 100% literate workforce * Highest physical quality of life index * India's most advanced society * Rich natural resources - minerals, marine products, agri-products * A range of industry - specific walk-in-and-manufacture environments * Quality power and water supply Highlights of the Government Industrial Policy-1998 * Pro-active government policies and pro-enterprise incentives * Accelerate industrial growth (up to 9%) in the State * Creation of more ready- made infrastructure facilities * Creation of a management culture and maintenance of cordial industrial and labour relations * Necessary assistance for marketing of industrial products * Simple and transparent procedures for investment
Visit Kerala once and you too will fall in love with her . Thats why we call her "The Gods Own Country"
