Office 2003 and 2007 on the same PC?

I finally found the solution to speeding up the loading of excel 2007 files!
I had to just activate the 'Lookup wizard' add-ins from 'excel options' tab!

Office 2003 and 2007 working ok for me on the same PC.
Office 2007 have much more features and a lot of changes and it take time to become used to. but for my opinion office 2007 is much better.

 

Never tried this but I think they will conflict with each other.

 

i ve got 2 computers and office 2007 and 2003 , play good

 

I have already installed both the version on a single PC and both the programs run... very smoothly without any conflict!

It may cause corrupt some important during installation. Many times it generates problem. Thanks for sharing.

 

I would suggest you office 2007 is demanding now. so, go with office 2007

 

you can have both the version on the same PC. i had before both the version on the same PC. i didn't face any problem.

 

Yes, they can exsit on one computer. I have using both of them on my computer, Win xp.

 

Not tried yet about installing both 2003 and 2007 but I think there's no problem on that as there are also members here claiming that they already tired it.

 

I do believe that it will work, definitely when you install it on different drivers. You can also try to install it on the same drive, just in different installation folder.

 

There are bugs for 2003 therefore it will definitely be better to upgrade 2010 as it resolves issues for slow in response to opening files. I had encountered several times using 2003 and the filesize is not huge but it takes more than 2 minutes to open. I tried the same file with 2010, it opens instantly. I do believe that there are some changes made for 2010 to resolve the issue of files not able to open instantly.

 

Yes you can run it on the same operating system, i have also installed some time ago but noe i am only using ms office 2010.

Yes you use both at a time. But default will be M.Office 2007.

of course you can use office 2003 and 2007 parallel at same time.
