Offering my users a free forum? What software?

    I want to offer a 'free forum' to my visitors - hosted on my site, but without me needing to manually set anything up for them.

    Can anyone suggest a forum script or CMS that will let my visitors setup their own message board/forum on MY site?

    Try Joomla then search for a free phpBB extension. In joomla you can have extension for forum

    I found one, AND it works with MyBB (which I personally prefer over phpBB, SMF etc). AND unlike most of the other multiforum scripts out there, it's actually still alive. I haven't installed it yet, but it looks good :)

    Nope don't want to use blogs.

    Most of the multi forum scripts I've found have been abandoned.
