What a great idea DPers! Okay, I have AU$50 to spend (around $35USD) on just a logo to start with. The logo must be capable of various sizes from 150px wide up to 1024px wide so would probably be best vector based but this is not important for a great design. My starting requirements are: Logo: web 2.0 colours / possible black & red but not important for a great design. It must work on a white background. M u l t i K e y s ( 2 words - double spaced only to avoid search engines in this thread ) Slogan: Making it simple... It is a family business and the Keys is relevant to our family name. It does not involve keys, moreso a keyboard as we mainly create websites and offer web promotions to our clients. A keyboard is not compulsory but something clever to do with the Keys would be great. All entrants must submit via this thread. I will not accept entries sent by PM. I want to be sure it's an original design. Payment of AU$50 will give me full and exclusive rights to the logo but can be kept by the winner for their portfolio only. I expect to finalise this competition within 7 days to give everyone a chance to enter. If none of the designs are too my liking I will pay the best entrant AU$20 and not use any of them myself. Having seen other similar threads I think DP members will come up with the goods. Next: I run a number of sites and want them all upgraded. I will want at least 5 different landing pages designed for various websites based on a similar theme and will be offering $100USD for each of them. I think we'll start with the logo design and go from there. Payment by Paypal. I will give feedback on all entries. Good luck DPers!
Thanks for your nice and quick entry chlopzmazur but it doesn't meet the criteria I asked for. That is only the slogan and it should have been MAKINGITSIMPLE. Where's the business name?
Thanks for your entry Sapiraz. I'm looking for something more than just words. Hoping to get a logo cleverly incorporated in there somewhere.
@chlopzmazur: much better and meets criteria. Thanks for re-trying. @AllofAll: You got the idea perfectly. That is in the running. Clever use of a logo. Thanks for your entry.
That entry looks better than your first Sapiraz. Not sure on the bottom blue dot and the arrow. I'm thinking the squarer shape of the logo will make it hard to read the 'making it simple' when reduced to 150px wide. I do like the circle looking like an earth but would probably prefer it alongside the business name rather than above to make it more of a rectangular shape. - to fit in a 100px high banner and be readable. Thanks again for your entry.
@surenther that looks very good but a little busy. Can we try that without the arrow? And maybe another with a red KEYS? + it's 'making it simple' but I get the idea. @Sapiraz Not sure I like that one sorry, I do like your second one better. Getting a few great entries here, not sure it will last the whole the seven days. Please let me know if you're thinking of entering and I will keep it open all week. So my overall opinions so far: I think AllofAll has the cleverest Chopz has the simplest - which works in with our slogan so is not out of the running. surenther has the classiest and Sapiraz 2nd design has the grows on you effect Thanks all for entering.
A-Q Very clever - looks like the first logo I made for our business but much neater. It's in the running, thanks for your entry.
@jokomamamita looks good, thanks for your entry. @surenther - bottom left on your #17 entry jumped right out at me. Very VERY nice indeed. Thanks again.
