Off topic submissions...

For a little fun I thought we could share those submissions that make as laugh as we quickly hit the delete button - those that are so mismatched to the category that even without including the site name, URL, or description others might find it funny.

My best from the other day...

On my arts & crafts niche directory:

a PVC pipe manufacturer in Gourd Art
    an SEO company in Gifts
lotions and potions for enlarging things in Business Guides, Gifts, and Other Advertising Options for Crafters (ok, so gifts might be close  )

So what idiots, oooh sorry, SEO professionals have come your way lately?

Reject it and give the webmaster an email telling the reason, and ask him to resubmit if he like.

I can honestly say that I have been guilty of the same thing.

What happens is that when I am submitting, I have a habit of using the scroll wheel on my mouse and do not notice that it changes the category selection.

When I see people submit decent sites to my directory, but in the wrong category, I just change the category for them and move on.

My site requires the submittor to travel to the category and submit from there. So these submissions were on 'purpose'.
