Okay... after several month with adsense and a lot of tweaking and re-designing I still can't achieve my goal... of earning some decent revenue I have since come to the conclusion that Elvis ads are not going to earn me much no matter what I do to my high content site... with over 300+ articles. So, as I believe my visitor demographic is baby boomers... and they would be interested in seeing ads for cruises, retirement plans etc.... how do I get "off topic" adsense ads... Although I have since decided to write several articles on baby boomers... I found to my horror that I don't have any ads at all not even PSA appear... Do I contact google and ask for a broader scope of ads... Any suggestions? Thanks....
To get offtopic ads, try to create new pages with names like: vacations.html or travel.html. Put some relevant content there. Icnlude relevant HEAD TAGS and put internal links from your website with anchor texts like "travel" or "vacation". That's all. Now your Google ads will be displaying other ads.
