dont worry....there are many other websites that you can sell your material through.......website design company may nbe intrested to buy this types of images and graphic design companies as well....
thanks. I'm exploring "other options". AND, I guess I need to stop trying to use my normal landscape/nature/macro images and go purposely shoot the stock in order to get my stock accepted!
got another w,t,f moment "We could not find a clear center focal point for this file." WHAT THE FORUM are they joking??
maybe their auto reject bots need some more random messsages. But seriously that's just bs with all those lame reasons.
lol, exactly! you know why they are so freaking anal, I'm not submitting photos of people that's what they really want...stuff they can sell to corporations and the like. I mean rejecting something b/c of the file name???? G_A_Y!
is it possible to actually ask the staff why your pictures get rejected? i assume the rejection messages you got are from the system?
they assure me that real live humans review the images I know b/c I pretty much told them to jump off a cliff without a parachute. I was literally 1 email away from being banned that being said, sometimes you can resubmit the photos after certain "corrections" are made, but the ones that are flat out rejected you have to jump through hoops in order to get a more "personal" review of your image done. I'm like 3/3 on the "scout files" where you ask for an additional review. so all in all it's not hopeless but very frustrating and time consuming to say the very least. we'll see how it pans out
I've been flagged who knows what the deal is. some of the rejections make perfect sense to me after the fact, but the other half are like WT_! I'm beginning to learn the way they think though. one of the things is, you can barely do any post processing. DEFINITELY not any sharpening as that creates artifacting and they jump all over that! adding more saturation also does that. at least they're not completely evil like shutterstock; SS is hardcore
