Off-site SEO = the freeloading ride on others property for link gain...... is almost extinct

Off-site Seo (link building) used to be great, everything online was free and links exchanged like running water, every day was exciting gaining new links and success was pretty easy. Then people realised the value of what they built up over time, and began charging fees to stop the spam. Unfortunately with poorly designed sites sparked underhand ways to get free links and so webspace theft was born.

Fortunately, websites evolved over the years and now have great Content Management Systems (CMS) which block out registrations/posters, so now spamming has been reduced a lot and Linkbuilding in such a manner is pointless for the masses.

We will see the web return to the old days it once was.... for the good of mankind, where advert pricing was reasonable and targeting more effective.
